PM modi meets president murmu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Draupadi Murmu on Wednesday (May 7, 2025), a few hours after the missile attack on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK). According to sources, the Prime Minister informed the President about ‘Operation Sindoor’.

In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, the terrorist bases in Pakistan under the ‘Operation Sindoor’ by the Indian Armed Forces on Tuesday night include Jaish-e-Mohammed’s stronghold Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base Murid. These missile attacks were carried out two weeks after the massacre of 26 civilians on 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

The President’s Office shared the pictures of the meeting and while posting a post on ‘X’ said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan and informed him about ‘Operation Sindoor’.

Some important things related to Operation Sindoor

• The campaign started on Wednesday morning was jointly operated by the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy. Between 1.05 pm and 1.30 pm, nine terrorist bases from 24 missiles were attacked, including the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke and major establishments at Bahawalpur, these are the places that are considered the center of terrorist activities.
• According to government sources, about 70 terrorists were killed in this campaign. Officials said this action was of understanding, proportional and non-non-nature, in which terrorist camps were targeted, especially, except citizens and military infrastructure.
• At the Union Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave detailed information about this operation and appreciated the bravery of the Indian Army. Cabinet ministers congratulated PM Modi for this successful campaign and expressed full confidence in his leadership. According to sources, PM Modi remained in touch with the National Security Advisor and military commanders throughout the night, so that the campaign is concluded according to the plan.
• The Indian Army, Air Force and Ministry of External Affairs held a joint press briefing over ‘Operation Sindoor’, which included Foreign Secretary Vikram Egyptian, Air Force Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Indian Army Colonel Sophia Qureshi. Military officials also showed the clip of the attack on terrorist bases.
• Colonel Qureshi said that Pakistan has developed a network of terrorist camps, launch pads and recruitment centers within its boundaries for decades. The purpose of this operation was to demolish those foundations. “
• After the success of Operation Sindoor, the Central Government has called an all -party meeting on Thursday (May 8) at 11 am. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and senior ministers will be present.
• The agenda of the meeting focuses on giving information about Opposition leaders about Operation Sindoor and discussing future action on national security matters.

Pahalgam terror attack: The terrorist attack on Tuesday (April 22) in Pahalgam, a beautiful tourist destination in Jammu and Kashmir, shook the country. Role of terrorist organizations and their agenda in Pakistan
A total of 60 foreign terrorists of organizations like Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let) are currently said to be active in Jammu and Kashmir, whose only purpose is to spread instability and spread terror. This business should stop immediately. All the relationships of sports, art and films should also be abolished. All cultural relations like cricket, TV and films should stop. Pakistani artists should not get work in Indian films.”

‘Keep military options ready’

Pradeep Singh said, “India should keep its three armies, Army, Air Force and Navy fully prepared. Just as we had done surgical strikes and air strike after Uri and Pulwama attacks, the same is still needed and this time the answer should be stronger.”

He said, “Now only mild treatment will not work. We have to eliminate the root of this terrorism. Loc (Line of Control) should be fully activated. The voice of cannons should be so loud that Pakistan’s army realizes its mistake. If needed, we should also go beyond LOC. Even before, we have done this in Balakot.

‘Pakistan should get a clear message’

He said, “Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir, who is talking inflammatory things, is actually speaking language like terrorists. If he does not get an answer in their own language, then he will never understand. Now India will have to decide whether the corpses fall in our limits or in their limits.
