My prayers are with the victims and their families. There is no place in our country for such violence.”

Former Indian cricketer Parthiv Patel wrote on X (Twitter), “I am shocked and angry to hear what happened in Kashmir today. Those responsible will be punished, I am sure they will be punished. I pray for the peace of the souls of those killed …”
