Delhi Police Commissioner SBK Singh ordered the suspension of eight policemen, including Inspector and Sub -Inspector Rank officials, after his visit to the ISKCON temple on Saturday (August 16). The police chief immediately directed to suspend eight policemen on charges of being negligent in duty, directing strict action. He also gave strict warning to the in -charge of Shahabad Dairy police station, whose part of the deployment under the jurisdiction used to come.

Instructions were made to monitor sensitive religious places
Senior officials said that the commissioner has asked all the District Police Commissioners to personally monitor the arrangements at sensitive religious places and ensure that the policemen should be cautious and active.
