7.68 percent lead in shares

On Friday, JBM Auto shares reached a price of Rs 673.9 with a gain of 7.68 percent. According to Bloomberg, the company’s shares have reached high levels since July 24 and are currently trading at 71 times the average 30-day trading volume. This year, the stock may have declined by 12 percent, while the benchmark Nifty 50 has also risen by 6 %. JBM Auto Total Market Capitalization is 15,916.06 crore.

JBM Ecology Mobility gets a big order

JBM Auto’s subsidiary company JBM Echolfe Mobility has received an order of $ 100 million to expand its electric bus operations in India from IFC. Due to this long term funding, the company will be helped to fulfill the order of 1,455 modern, air condition bus for Maharashtra, Assam and Gujarat. This is IFC’s first and biggest investment in Asia’s E-Bus sector.

Talking about this, Nishant Arya, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of JBM Auto, said, “This initiative is a strategic start for many more upcoming cooperation towards raising the number of e-boys in the coming time.”

The objective of this project is to reduce the CO2 emissions by 1.6 billion kg, save more than 60 million diesel, generate 5,500 jobs and serve more than one billion passengers. This Delhi-NCR company is the biggest manufacturer of E-Base in the world after China. The company currently has an order of 11000 electric buses. Whereas, orders of 2500 electric buses have already been completed.

The company’s first quarter result

In the first quarter of 2025 business year, JBM Auto’s net profit jumped 10.18 percent to Rs 36.80 crore, which is more than a profit of Rs 33.40 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s operational revenue reached Rs 1,253.88 crore with a gain of 9.56 percent, which is more than Rs 1,144.50 crore, earned from the operation in the quarter ended June 2024.
