The result of JEE Advanced 2025 has been released and now the process of admission in IIT is also going to start. For students who have passed this exam, now the next big step is JOSAA counseling. Joint seat allotment Authority (JOSAA) will start the counseling process from 3 June 2025 i.e. 5 pm today.

Admission will be available in IITs, NITs, IIITs and other government engineering institutions across the country through JOSAA counseling. The last date for registration and choice of college/course for counseling is 12 June 2025. In such a situation, candidates who want to participate in counseling, they need to apply in time.

Who can apply?

All the candidates who have passed in JEE Advanced 2025 can be included in JOSAA counseling. Through this, they can get admission in prestigious institutions like IIT, NIT, IIIT and GFTI.

When will the mock seat allotment be?

The first mock seat allotment list will come on 9 June 2025.
The second mock list will be released on 11 June 2025.

Which documents will be necessary?

• Class 10th and 12th marksheets and certificates
• JEE Main or Advanced Admit Card
• Category or PWD Certificate (if applied)
• Medical certificate
• Bank details (if you want to take refund)
• Passport or OCI/PIO Card (if applied)

How much fee will be paid?

The partial entry fee for SC, ST and Divyang category is 20,000.
This fee for General, OBC-NCL and EWS category has been fixed at 45,000.

How to apply for Josaa Counseling?

1. First go to josaa.nic.in.
2. Click on the link “Josaa Counselling 2025 Registration” given on the homepage.
3. Log in by entering your JEE Main or JEE Advanced roll number and password.
4. Now choose your favorite college and course and set them as per priority.
5. After filling all the information, submit the form and download one copy of it and keep it.

The result of JEE Advanced 2025 organized for admission to the top engineering institutions in the country has been released today. This year this examination was conducted by IIT Kanpur and the candidates can check their results on the official website jeeadv.ac.in.

But the biggest news is that Kota student Rajit Gupta has topped the entire country by achieving All India Rank 1 this time. Four more students of Kota have made their place in the topper list with them, due to which there is an atmosphere of celebration in Kota.

With the success of Rajit Gupta, the coaching industry of Kota has once again proved how effective the hard work and guidance here is in preparing the toppers of the country. Rajit not only topped the exam, but it is the second consecutive year when JEE Advanced’s topper has come out of Kota. According to media reports, Rajit had secured 96.8 percent number in class 10.

This year, JEE Advanced examination was held on May 18 in two shifts at 224 examination centers across the country. The examination was of a total of 360 marks, which included two papers-both Paper-1 and Paper-2 were 180–180 marks. This time a total of more than 1.87 lakh students had registered. Interestingly, this time the cutoff has seen a decline of about 30%. While last year’s cutoff was 109, this time it has come down to only 76.

Now what next?

With the release of the result, now the process of Josaa Counseling 2025 will start. This process will run in six phases from June 3 to July 28. Through this counseling, students will get admission in 23 IITs, 32 NITs, 26 IIITs and 47 other government institutions across the country. The first phase of counseling seat allotment list will come on 14 June.

• Click on the link ‘JEE Advanced Result 2025’.
• Enter roll number, date of birth and mobile number.
• Results will appear on the screen, download it and save it.
