After the result of JEE Advanced 2025, it is now clear that IIT Bombay is the most special place in the hearts of top rankers across the country. The JIC report has revealed that this time most of the candidates who brought the top rank made IIT Bombay their first choice for admission.

According to the report, 73 candidates have chosen IIT Bombay out of this year’s top 100 rankers. At the same time, 19 toppers chose IIT Delhi and 6 chose IIT Madras. That is, about three-fourths of the top rank this year is going to be a part of IIT Bombay.

The JIC report has also clear that no other IITs found a place in the top 100 rankers. This figure suggests that the popularity of IIT Bombay for the most meritorious students of the country is continuously increasing.

Demand also increased on seats

Another special thing has come out in the report. Most of the candidates have been admitted to more than the number of seats in IITs. For example, IIT Bombay has a total of 1360 seats, but till the last round there was admission in 1364 seats here. This trend suggests how eager students are to study in IIT Bombay.

Boys ahead, low number of girls

The gender ratio has also been mentioned in the JIC report. This year, a total of 14,524 seats have been won by boys, while women took admission in 3,664 seats. This difference shows that the number of girls is still low, although the participation of women candidates is gradually increasing compared to the last few years.

How many passes were there in the exam?

Let us tell you that on 18 May 2025, the JEE Advanced Exam was conducted at 258 centers in 155 cities across the country. Lakhs of students participated in this examination, out of which a total of 54,378 candidates were successful. The most discussed of these is the top rankers who set a new example with their hard work and dedication.

Which zone has the most toppers?

In JEE Advanced 2025, toppers from different zones also appeared. According to the report, 4 candidates from IIT Delhi Zone, 3 candidates from IIT Bombay Zone, 2 candidates from IIT Hyderabad Zone, 1 candidate from IIT Kanpur Zone were included in the top 10.

The result of JEE Advanced 2025 has been released and now the process of admission in IIT is also going to start. For students who have passed this exam, now the next big step is JOSAA counseling. Joint seat allotment Authority (JOSAA) will start the counseling process from 3 June 2025 i.e. 5 pm today.

Admission will be available in IITs, NITs, IIITs and other government engineering institutions across the country through JOSAA counseling. The last date for registration and choice of college/course for counseling is 12 June 2025. In such a situation, candidates who want to participate in counseling, they need to apply in time.

Who can apply?

All the candidates who have passed in JEE Advanced 2025 can be included in JOSAA counseling. Through this, they can get admission in prestigious institutions like IIT, NIT, IIIT and GFTI.

When will the mock seat allotment be?

The first mock seat allotment list will come on 9 June 2025.

What will happen in the admit card?

In your admit card, your name, roll number, JEE main application number, photo, signature, date of birth, correspondence address, category, examination center name and address will have been given. If there is any kind of mistake in them, contact NTA immediately.

• The JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be held on May 18 in two shifts.
• First shift from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Second shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Big news has come out for millions of students waiting for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has started the online registration process for JEE Advanced 2025 from 21 April 2025.

Students who have achieved success in JEE Main 2025 can now register by visiting the official website jeeadv.ac.in. The final date of registration has been set on 2 May 2025, while the fee can be paid by 5 May 2025.

So successful in JEE Main

This year, 2,50,236 students have been successful in JEE Main Examination, which is the lowest number in the last six years. It is clear from this that the selection process has now become more competitive. Eligible students will require more hard work for success in the tough exam of JEE Advanced.

Registration fee information

For JEE Advance 2025, SC, ST, Divyang and women candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1600, while students of other classes will have to pay Rs 3200.

Eligibility criteria

In this examination, the same candidates can appear, who have got rank in B./B.Tech paper of JEE Main 2025. General class candidates should be born after 1 October 2000 and reserved class candidates should be born after 1 October 1995. Candidates can sit in JEE Advanced only twice in two consecutive years. Students obtained in any IIT through Josaa 2024 will not be allowed to sit again in JEE Advanced, even if their admission has been canceled.
