JEE Advanced Result 2026: The wait of lakhs of students dreaming of taking admission in the top engineering colleges of the country is about to end. The result of the candidates appearing in JEE Advanced 2026 will be released on June 1. IIT Roorkee had earlier released the provisional answer key and sought objections from the students. JoSAA counseling will start after the result

JoSAA counseling process will start immediately after the release of JEE Advanced 2026 result. Under this process, eligible candidates will be able to select their preferred location and branch on the basis of their rank. Seat allotment will be done in multiple phases and candidates will have to fill their choices within the stipulated time limit. Through counselling, admission will be given in all the IITs of the country, apart from NITs, IIITs and other participating technical institutes. How were the cut offs in previous years?

The cut off of JEE Advanced changes every year depending on the difficulty level of the exam and performance. In 2025, the CRL qualifying cut off was 74 marks, whereas in 2024 it was 109 marks. Whereas in 2023 the qualifying cut off was recorded at 86 marks.
