Students who do B.Arch of IIT. For those who want to take admission in the course, the registration for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026 has also started. The application process will start from 10 am today and will continue till 5 pm on June 2. Only candidates successful in JEE Advanced 2026 can apply for it.

Step 7: Mock seat allotment and wait for seat allotment result.
Step 8: After getting the seat, pay the Seat Acceptance Fee and complete the online document verification process.

JEE Advanced Result 2026: The wait of lakhs of students dreaming of taking admission in the top engineering colleges of the country is about to end. The result of the candidates appearing in JEE Advanced 2026 will be released on June 1. Along with the result, the final answer key and All India Rank will also be released by IIT Roorkee, which is conducting the examination. Final answer key will be released along with the result

IIT Roorkee had earlier released the provisional answer key and sought objections from the students. After reviewing the objections received, the final answer key has been prepared, which will be made public along with the result. This will give students an opportunity to understand their answers and final assessment. The result will include important information like subject wise marks of the candidates, total score, All India Rank, Category Rank and final qualifying status. Further counseling and seat allotment process will be conducted on this basis.

JoSAA counseling will start after the result

JoSAA counseling process will start immediately after the release of JEE Advanced 2026 result. Under this process, eligible candidates will be able to select their preferred location and branch on the basis of their rank. Seat allotment will be done in multiple phases and candidates will have to fill their choices within the stipulated time limit. Through counselling, admission will be given in all the IITs of the country, apart from NITs, IIITs and other participating technical institutes. Therefore, along with the results of the students, it has also been advised to keep an eye on every official information related to counselling.

How were the cut offs in previous years?

The cut off of JEE Advanced changes every year depending on the difficulty level of the exam and performance. If we look at the statistics of the last few years, there have been a lot of fluctuations in the qualifying cut off of the Common Rank List. In 2025, the CRL qualifying cut off was 74 marks, whereas in 2024 it was 109 marks. Whereas in 2023 the qualifying cut off was recorded at 86 marks. Experts believe that this change in cutoff reflects the difficulty level of the question paper and the performance of the students.

This scholarship is given to about 25% students every year, that is, selected students of every batch get its benefit. Under this scholarship, the tuition fees of the students are waived off, however, they have to pay the remaining fees themselves. This scholarship is available for full 12 months. The amount and rules of scholarship are decided by the Board of Governors. Additionally, if a student receives another scholarship, he or she is given the option to choose only one of the two.

Conditions and eligibility for scholarship

Some important conditions have been laid down to get the scholarship. In this, first of all it is necessary for the student to be good in studies and he has to fulfill the prescribed merit rules. Along with this, the financial condition of his family is also considered, which is called “Means Criteria”. Apart from this, only those students get scholarship against whom no disciplinary action has been taken. If any student is proven guilty of cheating in the examination or breaking the rules, then he will not get the benefit of this scholarship. According to merit, the student must have at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade. If a student is not able to score good marks but his financial condition is not good, then he can get exemption in tuition fees to some extent.
