JEE Exam Center: Now in examinations like JEE NEET and CUET, candidates will not be able to choose the examination center from their choice.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has implemented a new rule for national examinations like JEE, NEET UG and CUET UG. Now students will not be able to choose the exam center with their choice. Examination center will be available only on the basis of address written in Aadhaar card, its objective is to make the examination process transparent and organize the examination process only.

Update Aadhaar card before application

NTA has issued notice to the students and parents that before the start of the application process, the address and other details in the Aadhaar card are correct.

When will the exam start?

The notice states that the process of the National Entrance Examination for the academic session 2026-27 is starting. First of all, it will be started from JEE Main-2026, students are advised to check their documents such as Aadhaar and 10th class certificate information in time.

Aadhaar and 10th certificate information should be the same

It is important to note that the name, date of birth and other details in the Aadhaar card and 10th certificate should be the same, if any difference is found in them, then the application form will be canceled, besides the examination center will also be available according to the address written in Aadhaar.

Necessary information for reserved class students

Students of Divyang, SC, ST, OBC and EWS classes have been advised to keep their certificate ready, the information given in these certificates should be matched with Aadhaar and 10th Class Certificate. Changes in these documents will not be possible after filling the application form.

Now the center of examinations like NEET, JEE and CUET will not be based on your choice but on the address recorded in the Aadhaar card, so all the students should correct their documents in time and concentrate in the preparation of the exam.

Apart from this, serious cases like suicide have also come up, especially from cities like Kota, while formal schools made for coaching are stopping the complete development of students. This time again IIT Bombay has proved that it remains the first choice of students. 9 out of top 10 students and 73 out of top 100 students have chosen IIT Bombay.

First choice of top rankers: IIT-B

IIT delhi increased its publicity this time for the first time. He held special events in Mumbai and Bangalore under the name ‘Experience IIT-D’, where JEE’s top qualifiers were called and shown campus tour, conversation with faculty and extra-scarcular activities. At the same time, IIT Madras called the top 200 students and their parents their campus and even raised their expenses, so that they could see the merits of the institute closely.

But while taking the final decision, the top rankers again chose IIT-B. Vishal Mishra, an alumni student of IIT, says, “IIT Bombay’s name has become a brand itself. People think that if most rankers are choosing it, then there will be something special in it.”

Big news has come out for millions of students waiting for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has started the online registration process for JEE Advanced 2025 from 21 April 2025.

Students who have achieved success in JEE Main 2025 can now register by visiting the official website jeeadv.ac.in. The final date of registration has been set on 2 May 2025, while the fee can be paid by 5 May 2025.

So successful in JEE Main

This year, 2,50,236 students have been successful in JEE Main Examination, which is the lowest number in the last six years. Registration fee information

For JEE Advance 2025, SC, ST, Divyang and women candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1600, while students of other classes will have to pay Rs 3200.

Examination conduct

The JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be held on 18 May 2025 in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 am and the second shift will be from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

Eligibility criteria

In this examination, the same candidates can appear, who have got rank in B./B.Tech paper of JEE Main 2025. General class candidates should be born after 1 October 2000 and reserved class candidates should be born after 1 October 1995. Also, he had passed class 12th PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) in 2024 or 2025 with subjects.

These are important things

Candidates can sit in JEE Advanced only twice in two consecutive years. Students obtained in any IIT through Josaa 2024 will not be allowed to sit again in JEE Advanced, even if their admission has been canceled.
