Answer key will be released today
Candidates who appeared in JEE Main 2026 Session 2 will be able to check their answer keys today by visiting the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The provisional answer key of Paper 1 (BE/BTech) will be released by NTA. Along with this, students will also be shown the details of the answers given by them in the examination. However, for this, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 200 per question, which will be non-refundable. This process of filing objections is open only for a limited time, hence the candidates have to register their objections within the stipulated time limit. NTA prepares the final answer key only after reviewing these objections, which makes the result more accurate and fair.

Final result may come by 20th April
After the release of the answer key and completion of the objection process, students will now wait for the result. According to the available information, NTA can declare the final result of JEE Main 2026 Session 2 by 20 April 2026. Normalization policy will be followed while preparing the result. This means that the scores of students who appeared for the exam in different shifts will be brought to the same level, so that everyone can get a fair chance. Moreover, for the candidates who have appeared in both Session 1 and Session 2, the better of the two scores will be considered for the final ranking. This rule has been made in the interest of the students so that they can get the benefit of better performance.

When was the exam held?
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination was conducted on a large scale. This examination was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 April. Examination centers were set up in 304 cities across India, while the examination was also conducted in 14 cities abroad.
