This time the results of the country’s biggest engineering entrance examination have brought the capital Delhi into the limelight for a special reason. As soon as the results of JEE Main 2026 were released, the list of 12 students who scored 100 percentile came out, in which the name of Shreyas Mishra of Delhi has emerged prominently. By securing the top position among more than 13 lakh candidates, Shreyas has brought honor not only to the family but also to the entire city.

12 perfect scorers among 13 lakh candidates

The National Testing Agency has also made the percentile scores public along with the results. This year a total of 12 candidates have created a record by securing 100 percentile. The competition was so tough that there was a fierce competition for every single point. In such an environment, the name of Shreyas Mishra has emerged as the only topper of Delhi, who has become a source of inspiration for the students.

A family’s journey of struggle from Odisha to Delhi

Shreyas’s family originally belongs to Odisha. His father Sumant Mishra had come to Delhi many years ago in search of better opportunities. Today he is working as a cyber security consultant. His mother is an associate professor in the computer science department of a private university. Presently the family lives in Noida Extension, from where Shreyas gave a new direction to his preparation.

Childhood curiosity became the biggest strength.

In an interview, Shreyas told that his success did not come suddenly. He followed his studies systematically from his early years in school. From the fifth class itself, questions arose in his mind regarding every subject and he tried to find answers to them. This habit gradually transformed into a deep understanding and today at the age of 17, he set an example by scoring 100% marks in one of the toughest examinations of the country.

Mission JEE started from sixth class

Shreyas, a student of Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Ashok Vihar, revealed that he had started preparing for JEE from the sixth class itself. He used to study for 12 to 14 hours every day. However, he did not limit himself completely to books. To maintain mental balance he used to play cricket and listen to music. He believes that discipline and consistency are the real keys to achieving any big goal.

Success Mantra: Consistency and Balance

Shreyas’s story shows that there is no substitute for long preparation, clear goals and regular practice. He proved that even the impossible can become possible if the start is made at the right time and there is consistency in hard work. This result of JEE Main 2026 has given the message to lakhs of students that patience and dedication are most important to make dreams come true.

The result of JEE Main 2026 Session-1 is going to be released soon. After the release of the answer key, the eyes of lakhs of students are now fixed on the result date. According to the schedule released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the result of JEE Main Session-1 will be declared on 12 February. Students will be able to check their results by visiting the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Let us know how you will be able to see the results.

According to NTA, Session-2 of JEE Main 2026 will be conducted between April 2 and April 9. Students who did not get the expected score in Session-1 will have a chance to improve their performance in Session-2.

JEE Main Session-1 examination was held from 21 to 25 January and 28-29 January. Strict security arrangements were made to make the examination process completely safe and smooth. Face authentication and Aadhaar based biometric checks were done to confirm the identity of the candidates at the examination centres, so that there is no problem in the verification process and transparency is maintained.

First of all, it is important to understand that the rank in JEE Main is not directly determined by the raw score. The reason for this is that the examination is held over several days and in different shifts. The paper of each shift can be easy or difficult. To equalize this difference, NTA adopts normalization process. Only after this normalization the percentile score is decided and on the basis of that All India rank is arrived out.

These will be the important details
