Admit cards have been issued for Session 2 of Joint Entrance Examination Mains (JEE Main) 2026, the country’s biggest engineering entrance examination. National Testing Agency (NTA) has made the hall tickets available on the official website on 29 March 2026. Candidates who had successfully applied for this examination can now download their admit card online.

The admit cards issued by NTA are available in PDF format, which candidates can download using their login credentials. As the exam dates are near, all the students are advised to download their hall ticket without any delay.

when will the exam be held
JEE Mains Session 2 exam will be conducted from April 2 to April 9, 2026. This examination is conducted in two papers. Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning). Lakhs of students appear in this examination, hence it is very important to check the time and center information in advance.

JEE Main is a national level entrance exam, through which one can get admission in prestigious institutes of the country like NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. Candidates who score well in this examination can later qualify for JEE Advanced, which opens the way for admission into IITs.

What information is there in the admit card?

Admit card is not just an entry pass, but it contains your complete examination related information. It contains important details like your name, roll number, address of the examination centre, date and time of examination, photo and signature. After downloading, it is important to check all these information carefully so that in case of any mistake, correction can be done in time.

It is mandatory to carry a valid photo ID proof (like Aadhar Card, PAN Card etc.) along with the admit card on the day of examination. Without admit card, you will not be allowed to enter the examination center. Apart from this, it is important to reach the examination center before time so that any problem can be avoided at the last moment.
