Reliance Jio users faced poor network service. Last night, 5G service of Jio in select areas of Rajasthan and Gujarat was closed, so that users stayed away from 5G connectivity for about an hour. The network malfunction started around 7 pm, in which users informed about the signal disappearance on their mobiles. This problem was limited to only 5G users, while 4G service remained the same. On social media x, users started posting about no signal and #JioDown started trending for some time. During this time the users recorded their reactions on X, in which people expressed their problems. During this time no call or mobile internet was working for the affected users. By late evening the service started again and most of the users confirmed that their 5G networks had restored. Dowdatector But 80 percent of users filed a complaint of no signal, 14 percent of mobile internet and 6 percent filed complaints of mobile phones. A total of 15,195 users had filed a complaint so far.

Jio users have had problems before

Let me tell you that this is not the first time Jio users have faced service related problems. On June 16, 2025, a similar obstruction affected 5G users across Kerala. Earlier on September 17, 2024, Jio faced a major obstruction across the country due to a fire at its IDC Data Center, affecting millions of users across India.

Other network companies also had problems

Not only JIO but the networks of other telecom companies were also affected for some time. Recently other telecom companies also faced network problems in recent months. Airtel’s network was down on May 13, 2025 to several areas of Tamil Nadu, which hindered calling and mobile data service. Vodafone Idea users faced problems in the network on April 18, 2025, where most of the metro cities are receiving complaints. So far, Jio has officially said nothing due to problems in the network.
