PM modi meets president murmu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Draupadi Murmu on Wednesday (May 7, 2025), a few hours after the missile attack on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK). According to sources, the Prime Minister informed the President about ‘Operation Sindoor’.

In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, the terrorist bases in Pakistan under the ‘Operation Sindoor’ by the Indian Armed Forces on Tuesday night include Jaish-e-Mohammed’s stronghold Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base Murid. These missile attacks were carried out two weeks after the massacre of 26 civilians on 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

The President’s Office shared the pictures of the meeting and while posting a post on ‘X’ said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan and informed him about ‘Operation Sindoor’.

Some important things related to Operation Sindoor

• The campaign started on Wednesday morning was jointly operated by the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy. Between 1.05 pm and 1.30 pm, nine terrorist bases from 24 missiles were attacked, including the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke and major establishments at Bahawalpur, these are the places that are considered the center of terrorist activities.
• According to government sources, about 70 terrorists were killed in this campaign. Officials said this action was of understanding, proportional and non-non-nature, in which terrorist camps were targeted, especially, except citizens and military infrastructure.
• At the Union Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave detailed information about this operation and appreciated the bravery of the Indian Army. Cabinet ministers congratulated PM Modi for this successful campaign and expressed full confidence in his leadership. According to sources, PM Modi remained in touch with the National Security Advisor and military commanders throughout the night, so that the campaign is concluded according to the plan.
• The Indian Army, Air Force and Ministry of External Affairs held a joint press briefing over ‘Operation Sindoor’, which included Foreign Secretary Vikram Egyptian, Air Force Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Indian Army Colonel Sophia Qureshi. Military officials also showed the clip of the attack on terrorist bases.
• Colonel Qureshi said that Pakistan has developed a network of terrorist camps, launch pads and recruitment centers within its boundaries for decades. The purpose of this operation was to demolish those foundations. “
• After the success of Operation Sindoor, the Central Government has called an all -party meeting on Thursday (May 8) at 11 am. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and senior ministers will be present.
• The agenda of the meeting focuses on giving information about Opposition leaders about Operation Sindoor and discussing future action on national security matters.

Apart from this, the process of closing the Pakistani Embassy in India is being started. The central government has directed Pakistani diplomats to leave India within 48 hours. Along with this decision, the attic border checkpost will also be closed, which will also eliminate ground connectivity between India and Pakistan. All these decisions have been taken keeping in mind India’s national security and internal stability.

Order to leave the country for Pakistani officials
Defense, Navy and Air Force advisors of the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi have been declared ‘unwanted person’. They have to leave India within a week. Similarly, India will also call back its military advisors and five assistant employees located in Islamabad. The total number of employees of the two countries will be reduced from 55 to 30, which will be effective by 1 May.

PM Modi gave a tough message
Earlier, PM Modi posted on the social media platform X and said that those who have done this attack will get punishment. He posted that I strongly condemn the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. My condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured should recover as soon as possible. Every possible help is being provided to the affected people in the attack. Those behind this heinous act, they will be brought to the dock of justice. They will not be spared. Their nefarious agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is firm and it will be stronger.

Pahalgam terror attack: Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not use Pakistani aircraft while returning from Saudi Arabia. On Wednesday (April 23, 2025) in view of Pahalgam terror attack, PM Modi returned from Saudi Arabia. He left for Saudi on a two -day tour on Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, the terrorists attacked tourists in Basaron Valley of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people have died in this accident. This is the deadliest attack after the 2019 Pulwama attack.

On receiving the information of the attack, PM Modi ended the tour in the middle and he left for Delhi. During the return from Jeddah, PM Modi’s plane IF Boeing 777-300 (K7067) did not use Pakistani aircraft, while the plane went to Pakistan while leaving.

On returning to Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. A meeting with Jaishankar and Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt. On the other hand, Home Minister Amit Shah is in Srinagar. There he paid tribute to those who died and then also visited the spot. After Amit Shah returns, he and PM Modi will also hold a meeting with the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS).
