JNU administration has started the admission process in Post Graduate i.e. PG and Advanced Diploma in Proficiency (ADOP) courses for the academic session 2026-27. After the release of CUET PG 2026 result, the university has also opened its online portal. Now students can apply online sitting at home.

Application process started from 25th May

The application process has been started by JNU from 25 May 2026. Students who have given the CUET PG 2026 examination can apply by visiting the official website of the university. The last date for application has been fixed as June 15, 2026.

Which students can apply?

Only those students can apply to JNU who have given the CUET PG 2026 examination conducted by the National Testing Agency i.e. NTA. Application without CUET PG score will not be valid. An important rule is that the student can apply for a course related to the subject for which he has appeared in CUET PG. That is, you will not be allowed to fill the form by changing the subject.

At the time of application, students will have to login by entering their registration number and date of birth. After this the entire process can be completed online. However, a separate selection process has been kept for certain courses and foreign students. In such cases, admission will be given on the basis of merit or separate examination.

Be sure to remember these dates

The admission process in JNU has started from 25th May 2026, while the last date to apply has been fixed as 15th June 2026. After this, the first merit list of the university is likely to be released on 23 June 2026. Students selected in the first list will have to deposit seat blocking and fees between 23 to 25 June 2026.

The second merit list can be released by July 1, 2026, after which the students included in the second list will have to pay fees and confirm their seats from July 1 to 3, 2026. The process of document verification will be completed between July 6 and July 14, 2026. Apart from this, the final admission process for the remaining vacant seats will run from 20 to 22 July 2026, while the last date for admission in the university has been fixed as 7 August 2026.

First of all students have to go to the official website of JNU. There you will have to register by clicking on the admission link. After this you will have to login and fill the application form. The information sought in the form will have to be filled carefully. Also, necessary documents will have to be uploaded in prescribed size. After this the application fee will have to be deposited and the form will have to be submitted. In the end, it will be necessary to take a print out of the application form and keep it with you.
