Delhi State Health Mission has released the notice of IPHL Recruitment 2026. This recruitment is being done under Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission. Under this recruitment, a total of 116 posts will be appointed on contract basis, which include important posts like Lab Technician, Pathologist, Microbiologist and Biochemist. The last date for online application has been fixed as 17 April 2026, 5 pm.

The need for experts has been felt to increase testing facilities in different labs and health centers of Delhi. This step has been taken to fulfill this need. A total of 116 posts, including 4 posts of pathologist, 5 microbiologists, 7 biochemists and 100 posts of lab technicians, will be filled, which will speed up testing services at the grassroots level.

This is the necessary educational qualification

For the post of Pathologist, MBBS along with postgraduate degree or diploma in the relevant subject and registration in Delhi Medical Council is required. 3 years experience is desirable for PG degree holders and 5 years experience for Diploma holders. For the post of Microbiologist, PhD in Microbiology with 2 years of experience, or MSc with 4 years of experience, or MD (Microbiology) degree and registration is required.

In some cases, the work done during PhD may also get exemption in experience. For the post of Biochemist also, PG degree or diploma and registration along with MBBS is mandatory. Whereas for Lab Technician, B.Sc (Medical Lab Technology) or 10th/12th Science with Diploma in Medical Lab Technology and 3 years experience is required.

Talking about the age limit, the maximum age for Pathologist and Biochemist is 45 years and the salary will be up to Rs 85,050 per month. The age limit for Microbiologist is 45 years, with the salary ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 85,050. The age limit for Lab Technician is 25 years and the salary has been fixed at Rs 30,240 per month. This pay scale states that experienced and qualified candidates will be given preference.
