If you are dreaming of becoming a teacher, then Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has brought a golden opportunity for you. The Commission has issued a notification for the recruitment of 1373 posts of secondary teacher (class 9th to 12th). Under this recruitment, eligible and interested candidates will be able to apply from 18 June 2025.

What should be educational qualification?

• B.Ed / M.Ed
• B.Tech / M.Sc
• Post graduation degree in MCA or any subject

Age limit

The maximum age limit for applying has been fixed at 45 years. Reserved classes will be given age relaxation according to government rules.

What will you get salary?

Selected candidates will get salary from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 per month. This pay scale will be according to the 7th Pay Commission and other allowances can also be found with it.

What is the application fee?

The application fee for the general category is Rs 100. While a fee of Rs 50 has been kept for SC/ST category. The fee can be paid through online medium.

How will the selection be?

Under this recruitment, the selection of candidates will be done on the basis of written examination. General knowledge in Paper 1 will be 100 marks, Hindi and English language 100 marks and paper 2 subject based exam (in which the subject is to be admitted) will be 300 marks. That is, the total test will be 500 marks.

Where and how to apply?

JSSC’s official website jssc.jharkhand.gov.in By going on, the candidates can start the application process through “New Registration”. Once the registration is completed, the necessary information will have to be filled by logging and uploading the documents and submitting the form. Finally, the application will have to be completed by paying the prescribed fee.
