He will never let me do anything. He is a very independent boy, very strong-willed and does not give up easily. He is a long race horse, as was said about me too in my initial days. He is not bothered by failures and is very honest with himself.

Aamir Khan told that whenever Junaid does a role, he immerses himself in it with complete sincerity. Aamir said, ‘He has played his character with complete honesty in ‘Ek Din’ also. Although, this is not a very heroic character, but he never tried to get out of it. This shows his sincerity towards his work.

Aamir Khan also shared an interesting memory of his son Junaid Khan’s childhood in the interview. He told that Junaid loved action shows like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in his childhood and he was often very excited watching them. Aamir told that once he took Junaid to the sets of his film ‘Ishq’, where an action scene was being shot. That scene included a stunt involving Ajay Devgan and Juhi Chawla’s car, in which the car gets hit and is seen jumping in the air. At that time, Junaid kept watching that entire scene with great attention and that experience was quite exciting and memorable for him.
