What is the story of ‘Kantha’?
This historical drama set in the Madras Presidency of the 1950s, the film tells the story of a superstar named TK Mahadevan (Dulquer), who is shooting Tamil’s first horror film “Santha”, along with his former mentor and film producer Ayya (Samuthirakani). However, due to the death of the film’s lead actress, Kantha turns into a murder mystery film. Produced by Rana Daggubati, Dulquer Salmaan, Prashant Potluri and Jom Varghese under Spirit Media Pvt Ltd and Wayfarer Films Pvt Ltd, “Kantha” has music composed by Jhanu Chantar.
