Now, Kalpana told India Today, ‘I was at the wedding of my friend’s son. He is like my child. The dance happened completely suddenly and I casually shared it on social media. Within a few hours it spread everywhere. I feel very surprised and grateful.

Let us tell you that this song is from the 1977 film ‘Armaan’. Kalpana Iyer also danced in the original video of this song. His hit song ‘Rambha Ho’ got a new lease of life after being included in Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar. Kalpana told that the song is trending again, although she has not seen the film yet.

He told, ‘A lot of friends sent me clips and said, ‘Your song is playing and we are missing you.’ Seeing this, I am feeling emotional and grateful,’ Kalpana said while thanking Aditya Dhar, ‘If a film brings my song back in such a way that even the new generation is humming it, then it is not amazing for me. At the age of 70, my song went viral again, who would have thought? This is fantastic.

Kalpana expressed hope that this could also open the way for her return to the film industry. He said. ‘I pray to God that it brings new opportunities for me. I missed the industry a lot, the studios, its smell, everything. Hopefully this is a new beginning,’

Kalpana clearly said in a podcast that after Hum Saath-Saath, she started getting less work offers. ‘When people are casting for certain types of roles, I want them to keep me in mind sometimes. I have always been ready for work. I never said I don’t want to.
