Talking about the Starcast of ‘Kannappa’, Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Preeti Mukhundhan, Madhu, Arpit Ranka, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Shiva Balaji, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devraj, Mukesh Rishi were seen playing important roles with Vishnu Manchu. At the same time, there was a cameo of Mohanlal, Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshay Kumar. Akshay Kumar became the incarnation of Lord Shiva in the film, while Prabhas played the role of Rigvedic deity Rudra.

According to the 123 Telugu report, Kannappa is going to be released on prime video on 25 July. No official information has been given by the makers and OTT platform yet. If this report is correct, then the film will come on digital only after a month of release.

Before Kannappa’s OTT release, Vishnu Manchu spoke to the press and gave the reason behind not finalizing the OTT deal before the release of the film. He had said- I have a lot of freedom because my film will not come on OTT before 10 weeks. This is my agreement and by the grace of God, there is no pressure on me to release. My only purpose is to show the best film to audiences.
