Actually, recently Chinni Prakash, the choreographer of the film ‘Karan Arjun’, had narrated this incident related to Salman and Shahrukh Khan in an interview. In a conversation with Friday Talkies, the choreographer said, ‘There was a song in this film, Bhangra Paale, while shooting it, Salman and Shahrukh got very angry…’

Why did Shahrukh and Salman get angry?,

The choreographer further said, ‘At the time of shooting, many people from the village were present on the set, some of whom started misbehaving with the girls working in the song. Seeing this, Salman and Shahrukh’s temper became high and they took sticks and beat those boys… then the atmosphere on the set became very heated. So we took those girls back from there..’

Life was full of ups and downs

The story of his life and career is full of ups and downs, courage and talent. Rakhi started the acting career in the year 1967 with the Bengali film ‘Vadhu Varan’. His first film in Hindi cinema was ‘Jeevan Death’ in the year 1970, in which he worked with Dharmendra.

After this, in the year 1973, he married famous poet, lyricist and director Gulzar. There was a condition in this wedding that Rakhi would leave work in films.

Rakhi accepted this condition, thinking that perhaps she would convince Gulzar. After this, his daughter was born in the year 1973, which he named Meghna Gulzar. But, only a year after the birth of the daughter, there was a rift in Gulzar and Rakhi’s relationship.

Second innings of career

According to media reports, an incident changed everything during the shooting of Gulzar’s film ‘Andhi’. Rakhi questioned Gulzar about this subject, in response to which tension increased and both of them separated.

After this, Rakhi signed Yash Chopra’s ‘Kabhi’, which was the beginning of the second innings of his career. However, both did not divorce for Meghna. In an interview, Rakhi had told, we are the best separate couples. Gulzar still considers me a lot.
