Karishma had made serious allegations against Sanjay Kapoor
Karishma Kapoor married businessman Sanjay Kapoor in a traditional Sikh wedding in her home, Krishna Raj Bungalow, Mumbai on 29 September 2003. The pair have two children Adhara and a son Kian. In the year 2014, Sanjay and Karishma decided to separate and filed an application for divorce by mutual consent. However, in 2015, he filed an application to withdraw his consent and then his divorce became a high-profile case, in which the two sides made serious allegations against each other.

Karishma was auctioned by husband on honeymoon
According to the report, Karishma claimed that Sanjay had tried to auction her, accusing Sanjay. According to the report of Bollywood Shahadis, Karishma mentioned her honeymoon incident in one of her petitions. Raja Babu actress allegedly said that Sanjay Kapoor tried to auction her and even forced her to sleep with her friends. When he refused to do so, Sanjay allegedly beat the actress and also told a friend to her price.

Karishma filed a case against Sanjay and mother -in -law
In 2016, Karisma Kapoor filed a domestic violence case against Sanjay Kapoor and his mother, in which he was accused of physical abuse. Karishma Kapoor claimed that when she was pregnant, Sanjay had told her mother that if she could not fit in the dress, then slap her.

A case of dowry harassment was also registered
Karishma had also filed a case of dowry harassment against Sanjay. Due to which Mumbai Police sent summons to Sanjay. All these allegations began when Karishma claimed that Sanjay was not ready to help her financially, so she withdrew her consent and started making lewd allegations in the media. Finally, in 2016, after a long legal battle, the court divorced Karisma and Sanjay. Sanjay then married Priya Sachdev on 13 April 2017.
