Shocking news has emerged in a report regarding Kash Patel, who held the post of Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) within the administration of US President Donald Trump. The report said that FBI Director Kash Patel has admitted that he was arrested twice in his youth. The first time he was arrested for public intoxication in Virginia, while the second time Kash Patel was arrested for public urination after leaving a bar while studying law in New York City.

According to The Intercept’s report, this information was revealed in a letter written by Kash Patel in 2005, which was part of his personal file during his employment in the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office. In the letter he wrote, ‘We went to some local bars and drank some alcohol.’ He said he was out celebrating with his friends that night and while returning home he tried to urinate in public. Before they could do so, a police car arrived and arrested them for urinating in public.

Kash Patel’s spokesperson’s statement regarding the report

Erica Knight, a spokeswoman for FBI Director Kash Patel, disputed the allegations, saying, “These attacks are merely an attempt to undermine the process that already qualified him for this position and an attempt to distract from his record-breaking performance within the FBI.” Knight also said that Patel’s entire background was thoroughly investigated before becoming FBI director.

When Kash Patel was arrested for drunkenness in public

In 2001, before the 2005 incident, Kash Patel wrote that he had been arrested for public intoxication for underage drinking while studying at the University of Richmond in Virginia. In fact, during that time, Kash Patel used to help run a student fan group called Richmond Rowdies. At the same time, he wrote in the letter that he was taken out by a school official for showing excessive enthusiasm during a basketball match. He wrote that as soon as I came out of the arena, the officer arrested me on charges of public drunkenness because I was under 21 years of age.
