Before the official Instagram account of the Royal Family of Nepal, King Gyanendra B. B. Shah has expressed his condolences on the recent violence. He said that whatever happened is very sad and painful. He expressed deep condolences to the families of those who died in this incident.

Gyanendra Shah said in clear terms that strict action should be taken against those who are responsible for this condemnable incident and no convict should be spared against them. In his message, he also recalled the courage and contribution of Jean ji (the person martyred during the performance). He said that the courage with which Jean ji raised his voice against injustice and corruption is commendable and the country should always respect for his efforts.

Former king gave this message to the youth

The former king inspired the youth and said, “O Veer, do not talk about retreat. If you want to get mother (Janani), then Nepal will have to be found.” This message of him is being considered a big statement in view of the current situation in Nepal and the increasing dissatisfaction among the public. The root of violence in Nepal is corruption and deteriorating economy.

Why did people get angry in Nepal?

The situation in Nepal became more tense when the government banned 26 social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and YouTube. Angry with this decision, the youth started the movement in the name of Gen-Z revolution from 8 September. Gradually, this protest became so fast that the situation went out of the government’s control. In the end, Prime Minister KP Oli Sharma resigned and had to leave the country and flee.

Consent in the name of Sushila Karki

In Nepal’s politics, the stir has intensified about the new government. The name of Sushila Karki has been agreed and its information has been given to the speaker of Parliament. Earlier, President Ramchandra Paudel had met party leaders to create political consent. He spoke to the Maoist Center President Pushpakamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ after consulting legal experts. Apart from this, he also spoke on the phone to Congress Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, General Secretary Gagan Thapa and Vishwaprakash Sharma.

Former king of nepal gyanendra shah: The government has given a big blow to the last king of Nepal Gyanendra. The government has cut their security. Demonstration is going on in Nepal to bring back the monarchy at this time. It is believed that this demonstration has been started by Gyanendra and his family members.

At the same time, the Civil Body of Kathmandu has imposed a fine on former King Gyanendra Shah for the damage to public property and environment during pro -monarchy protests in the capital of Nepal. The protest was organized on the call of Gyanendra Shah, so that Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) sent a letter to his residence in Maharajganj, the outskirts of Kathmandu. In this letter, KMC has asked him to pay compensation of 7,93,000 Nepali rupees.

Passport may be canceled

The government has also started the process of canceling their passport. This fined was imposed for improper disposal of waste on roads and pavements, as well as damage to physical structures. KMC on Saturday issued a fine notice citing violations of the waste management Act, 2020 and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Finance Act, 2021.

Stressful situation in many parts of Kathmandu

According to the report, a tense situation was observed in several parts of Kathmandu on Friday, when pro -monarchy protesters pelted stones, attacked the office of a political party, set fire to vehicles and looted shops in Tinkunabneshwar area of Kathmandu. In this violent clash, two people, including a TV cameraman, died and 110 others were injured.

In a letter sent to Gyanendra Shah (whose copies were also given to the media), KMC said, “The protests organized on the call of the former emperor damaged various properties of the metropolis and influenced the environment of the capital city. Durga Prasad, the organizer of this movement, met Gyanendra Shah a day earlier and he received instructions to agitate for demanding the monarchy and Hindu state.”

This incident happened when the monarchy supporters became active since democracy day in February, when Gyanendra Shah said, the time has come that we take responsibility for protecting the country and bringing national unity. After this, the supporters of the monarchy were organizing rallies in Kathmandu and other parts of the country, demanding the reinstatement of the 240 -year -old monarchy ended in 2008.

Gyanendra Shah had to face criticism

Earlier on Monday, March 24, a group of leaders of civil society in Nepal had criticized for being politically active for the purpose of restoring Gyanendra Shah’s monarchy. Eight civil society leaders said in a joint statement, Gyanendra Shah’s into political activism thwarts their ancestors’ efforts to build nation and pose a threat to their neighbors and the world to weaken the country.

Nepal Political Crisis: There is a rapid demand to bring the monarchy again in Nepal. It is being demonstrated for this. Due to this violence erupted, in which one person died and many people were injured. Amid increasing tension, the Ministry of Home Affairs has called an emergency meeting with the security heads to handle the situation.

In many areas of Kathmandu, there were violent clashes between the monarchy and security forces. The protesters tried to break the police barricades, in response to which security forces used tear gas. Meanwhile, a corsal complex, shopping mall, headquarters of a political party and a media house building were set on fire, injuring more than 12 policemen.

What is the Nepal government’s response?
Due to this increasing performance and violence, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called an emergency cabinet meeting. The main objective of the meeting is to discuss the incidents of violence and arson in Kathmandu. According to media reports, the government is considering the former King Gyanendra Shah responsible for this violence and his arrest. According to a minister in the cabinet, knowing the opinion of security heads regarding the arrest of Gyanendra Shah and assessing the possible results is being discussed.

Airport shutdown and impact on flights
The Tribhuvan International Airport had to temporarily shut down due to violence in Kathmandu. Several flights were diverted to India, including Bangkok to Air Asia, Dhaka to Bangladesh Airlines, Dubai from Dubai and Seoul to Korean Air. Apart from this, flights of Qatar Airways, Fly Dubai and Batik Air have also been stopped.

Why did the demand for monarchy arise?
In 2008, Nepal ended the monarchy and established a secular, federal, democratic republic. However, recently the demand for restoration of monarchy is increasing rapidly. The main reason for this is political corruption, economic instability, and increasing resentment towards repeated changes of governments.

Former King Gyanendra Shah’s appeal to support public
Former King Gyanendra Shah had appealed to the public on the occasion of democracy on February 19, which further intensified this movement. After this, on his return from his religious journey, thousands of supporters welcomed him at Tribhuvan International Airport. The protesters raised slogans like “Raja come back, save the country”, showing that support for the monarchy is still deep.

Monarchy support is increasing
Political analysts believe that a strong movement is taking shape to demand the restoration of Hindu monarchy in Nepal. The main reason for this is the increasing resentment towards corruption, economic decline, and political instability in the public. Since 2008, 13 governments have changed in Nepal, but political stability has not come.
