JDU leader KC Tyagi and his son Ambrish Tyagi joined Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) on Sunday (22 March). RLD President and Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary got the membership of the party to both the leaders. After joining RLD, K.C. Tyagi responded by saying that there is no difference between RLD and JDU. Both take inspiration from leaders like Chaudhary Charan Singh, Ram Manohar Lohia and Karpoori Thakur. We want to strengthen the questions that Chaudhary Charan Singh had left so that farmers become happy and India becomes strong.

I did not come to RLD to become MP, MLA – KC Tyagi

On the question asked regarding UP Assembly elections 2027, he said that our aim is to make Lok Dal so strong that the NDA government is formed again in Uttar Pradesh. I have been an MLA and MP before. He said, “Now I have come to RLD not to become MP, MLA, but to see Jayant Chaudhary like Chaudhary Charan Singh.” Chaudhary Charan Singh had given me a ticket to contest elections from Hapur at a very young age. He also gave me money and I hope that the day comes when Jayant Chaudhary becomes the PM again.

RLD President and Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary said, “KC Tyagi ji has expressed only one wish that we have to become like Chaudhary Charan Singh.” We Ch. Can’t become Charan Singh, he is our ideal. KC Tyagi ji, Ashok Yadav ji and Surendra Tyagi ji and many more people have joined our team who have given new energy and new strength.
