Kunal kamra controversy: A petition has been filed in the High Court in support of the comedian amid a dispute over Kunal Kamra. This petition has demanded that jokes should be recognized under Article 19 of the Constitution as Article 19 of the Constitution guarantees freedom of speech and expression.

Harshvardhan Khandekar, a student studying law, has filed a petition supporting Kunal Kamra through Advocate Amit Kataranavare. This petition filed in the Bombay High Court claimed that Kunal Kamra’s jokes are under the purview of Tanj and Political Criticism.

The petition filed in the High Court states that Kunal Kamra’s jokes were not with the aim of spreading any kind of hatred or enmity. He was just a tanjia. It has also been demanded in the petition that action should be taken against the officials responsible for the action taken by the municipality against Haibitat Studio in Khar. Please tell that the municipality has taken the studio located in Khar in its possession. In such a situation, it has been alleged in this petition that this decision has been taken in a partisan manner and the municipality has misused its jurisdiction.

4 FIRs lodged against Kunal Kamra
Kunal Kamra is trapped in a legal panchade to say controversial poem on Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. A total of 4 FIRs and two NC (non -cognizable) offenses have been recorded on the comedian so far. All these cases have been registered under sections 353 (1) (b), 353 (2), 356 (2) of BNS. These cases have been transferred to the Khar police for further investigation.

Kunal kamra controversy: Comedian Kunal Kamra’s difficulties do not seem to stop after reciting controversial poem on Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. Kunal Kamra has now sent a second summons by Khar police station in Mumbai and asked to appear for questioning.

Khar police had earlier sent a summons to Kunal Kamra and asked to appear before the police at 11 am on Tuesday. But Kunal Kamra did not appear and he had asked for a week to appear. However, the police had rejected Kamra’s demand.

Currently, Khar police of Mumbai are also recording the statements of people, staff and people present associated with The Habitat Studio. This is the same studio where Kunal Kamra recited controversial poem on Eknath Shinde and shot a video of it. After his video surfaced, Shiv Sena workers vandalized The Habitat Studio.
