In the year 1570, Emperor Akbar returned to Agra from Patan city of Punjab and traveled to several places. During this time, he stayed in the hospitality of local Hakimas in Deepalpur and Lahore. Akbar stayed here for two-three days and enjoyed the feast and then reached Ajmer via Hisar. In Ajmer, he spent a few days at the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and moved towards Sikri.

According to the book Glimpse of Indian History, Akbar Sheikh Salim Chishti’s house after reaching Sikri. This was a unique example of that time when an emperor makes a saint’s house his residence. According to Abul Fazal, Akbar’s sons were born in Sikri, which made him look more dear to this place. The emperor ordered that Sikri should be decorated with royal splendor. As a result, a grand palace, stone boundary wall, school, bathroom and market were constructed here. In a few years, Sikri became a rich city, which became famous as Fatehpur Sikri.

Where did Akbar spend most of the time of life?

In these years, Akbar spent most of life’s time among hunting, feasts and courtiers. The habit of playing Chaupar kept him busy with the women and courtiers of Haram for a long time. Sometimes the defaulters of the courtiers forced them to take strict action. In 1572, the rebellion of Mirzas in Gujarat and the activities of Mirza Hakim, the ruler of Kabul, worried Akbar. He sent forces towards Nagarkot and Kabul and prepared for the Gujarat campaign himself.

When did a new turn come under Akbar’s reign

Meanwhile, a Begum of Akbar’s harem in Ajmer gave birth to a son in September 1572. This child was named Danial. The emperor ordered that after a month, Danial should be handed over to King Bharmal of Amer for rationalization.

The establishment of Fatehpur Sikri and the birth of Danial gave a new twist to Akbar’s reign. While on the one hand he gave a grand appearance to his capital, on the other hand he also made military preparations to face the challenges of Gujarat and Kabul.

A hearing was held in the High Court on Monday (August 04) on the case of claiming the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti of Ajmer as Hindu temple. This hearing was held on a petition filed in the Rajasthan High Court against the ongoing trial in the district court of Ajmer to demand permission to allow puja archana. The High Court has issued a notice to all the parties and asked to file a reply in two weeks.

The Jaipur Bench of the High Court has issued a notice to Vishnu Sharma, president of the Hindu Army, who filed a case in the Ministry of Minorities, Government of India, Archaeological Survey of India and Ajmer Court. Two Anjumans of the dargah’s khadim ie institutions have filed this petition in the High Court.

Demand for stay on hearing in Ajmer district court

The petition filed in the High Court has demanded a stay on the ongoing hearing in the district court of Ajmer. It has been argued that in the case of Ashwini Kumar, the Supreme Court has refused to issue any interim order in the ongoing dispute over religious places in the country. It was only after the decision on the Places of Varships Act 1991 was asked to pass a final or interim order.

The petition said that despite the stay of the Supreme Court, the district court of Ajmer is constantly hearing in the dargah dispute case. Answers are being taken from the parties and their documents are being taken on record. On Monday, his lawyer Ashish Kumar Singh presented arguments in the court on behalf of the petitioners.

When will the case be heard in the High Court now?

The High Court has not stayed the hearing of the ongoing trial in the district court of Ajmer on Monday. The next hearing in the district court of Ajmer is to be held on 30 August. The case will be heard in the High Court in the third or fourth week. On behalf of Anjumans, it was said in the court that the trial going on with the ongoing trial is moving towards the interim order.

Anjumans also said that after the Supreme Court’s ban, the district court of Ajmer is no longer the right to continue hearing, all the other courts of the country are not even hearing and are only putting the date.
