KL Rahul has done what no one could do in IPL till now. He created history by playing an inning of 23 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders. Rahul has become the first batsman in the history of IPL to have scored 1,000 or more runs for three different teams. After scoring 16 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders, he completed 1,000 runs in his IPL career while playing for Delhi Capitals.

Till now there has been no batsman in the Indian Premier League who has scored more than a thousand runs for three different teams. KL Rahul has so far scored 1,000 or more runs for Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings. He crossed the mark of one thousand runs in the 24th innings for Delhi. KL Rahul has scored 1,007 runs for Delhi Capitals, 1410 runs for Lucknow Super Giants and 2548 runs while playing for Punjab Kings.

KL Rahul has played for a total of five teams in his IPL career. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad are the only two teams for which Rahul could not reach the mark of one thousand runs. He scored 417 runs for RCB and 308 runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Let us tell you that KL Rahul is in the race to win the Orange Cap of IPL 2026. So far he has scored 468 runs in 11 matches. He is still only 26 runs away from Orange Cap holder Heinrich Klaasen (494 runs). So far, Rahul has scored 5687 runs in his 160-match IPL career.

Kolkata Knight Riders have defeated Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets. This is the fourth consecutive win for the Kolkata team in the IPL 2026 season and has kept its playoff hopes alive. Finn Allen, who came to play as an impact player, created history by playing a match-winning inning of 100 runs. Batting first, Delhi Capitals had scored 142 runs, in reply Kolkata team chased the target 34 balls earlier.

Finn Allen created history

Finn Allen gave victory to Kolkata Knight Riders by hitting a six. He completed his century in 47 balls, which is the fastest century for Kolkata in the history of IPL. Finn Allen is only the fourth batsman to score a century for KKR. Before him, only Brendon McCullum, Venkatesh Iyer and Sunil Narine could score centuries for the Kolkata team.

Finn Allen returned unbeaten after scoring 100 runs in 47 balls and hit 5 fours and 10 sixes in this stormy innings. Allen scored 80 runs from the boundary itself. At one time Allen was playing after scoring 53 runs in 34 balls. He took only 13 balls to score the last 47 runs of his innings.

KKR’s winning four

This is the same Kolkata Knight Riders, which could not win even a single match in the first 6 matches of the season. But now Kolkata has scored four wins, taking it to 9 points in 10 matches.
