He said that Nitish Kumar is the pride and identity of Biharis. “We Biharis have the honor and respect of our Chief Minister, who worked for the development of every section.”

Komal Singh said emotionally that his father always used to say that the biggest asset of a leader is the people. Thanking the crowd present in the scorching heat, she said, “I bow my head and salute you for the blessings you have given to this daughter.”

He appealed to the people that if they press the button on the arrow, it will strengthen the hands of not just him but Nitish Kumar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chirag Paswan, Upendra Kushwaha, and Jitan Ram Manjhi. Taking aim at the Grand Alliance, Komal Singh said that the government that was in Bihar from 1990 to 2005 pushed the state towards backwardness. He said, “Due to the absence of an NDA MLA in Gaighat for the last 10 years, the area was deprived of development. But this time the public wants change.”

He said that when the leaders of the Grand Alliance go among the public, they will not count their work, but will try to divide people in the name of caste and religion. Giving a message of unity, Komal Singh said, “When we go out of Bihar, no one asks which caste or religion we belong to. We are only asked where we are from and we proudly say that we are Biharis.”

He said that “Bihar’s caste is also Bihari, religion is also Bihari and identity is also Bihari.” Therefore, voting should also be done in the name of development of Bihar. Taking a dig at the Grand Alliance, Komal Singh said, “When those people come among you, ask them to look into the eyes of your children and tell, do you approve of that 90s?” He claimed that “the head of the grand alliance will bow down or he himself will press the button on the arrow.”

Bihar Elections 2025 Number of Women Candidates in JDU First List Kavita Saha Komal Singh

After the seat distribution in NDA regarding Bihar Assembly elections (2025), the first list was released by JDU on Wednesday (October 15, 2025). In the first list, 57 seats and the candidates from there were announced. Of the 57 candidates, four are women.

In this first list released by Nitish Kumar’s party JDU, Kavita Saha has been made the candidate from Sinheshwar and Komal Singh has been made the candidate from Gaighat. Let us tell you that Komal Singh is the daughter of LJP (R) MP from Gaighat seat, Veena Devi. Komal Singh’s father Dinesh Singh is MLC from JDU. There was discussion that she would be a candidate from LJP (Ram Vilas), but when this seat went to JDU’s account, she has been made a candidate from there.

Talking about Komal Singh, she had contested elections from Gaighat seat in 2020 on LJP ticket. Had stood third. RJD’s Niranjan Rai had won from this seat. JDU was at second place. Maheshwar Prasad Yadav had contested the elections from JDU.

Ashwamedh Devi had lost in 2020

On the other hand, the party has given ticket to Ashwamedh Devi from Samastipur. Apart from these, Raveena Kushwaha has been made the candidate from Vibhutipur. Talking about Samastipur seat, in the 2020 assembly elections, Ashwamedh Devi had got the ticket from JDU but lost. In 2020, RJD’s Akhtarul Islam Shaheen had won from this seat. He got 68,507 votes. Ashwamedh Devi had received only 63,793 votes. She has been an MP from JDU.

On the other hand, if we talk about Raveena Kushwaha, her husband Ram Balak Singh has been an MLA from JDU. 2020 Ram Balak fought from JDU but lost. CPM’s Ajay Kumar had won from this seat. Now the wife is in the election field.

Chirag Paswan’s woman MP’s daughter becomes JDU candidate, gets ticket from this seat

Janata Dal United (JDU) has released its first candidate list for Bihar Assembly elections. Names of 57 candidates have been announced in this list. The special thing is that Chirag Paswan’s MP’s daughter has got the ticket from JDU. Komal Singh, daughter of MP Veena Yadav, has become the JDU candidate from Gaighat assembly seat. Let us tell you, Komal Singh’s father Dinesh Singh is associated with JDU.
