While addressing an election rally in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeted the TMC government on the issue of law and order and infiltration. PM Modi said that there has been a dangerous change in demography in the border areas of Bengal because infiltrators get direct protection from TMC. Targeting CM Mamata Banerjee, he said that earlier people used to come to Bengal for employment, but the ruthless government has made the same Bengal a center of migration.

TMC considers infiltrators as vote bank: PM Modi

PM Modi said, ‘These Trinamool people are opposing the SIR so that the infiltrators cannot be identified, on the contrary, TMC is threatening to repeal the CAA. That means, they will take away the citizenship of the refugee Hindus who have got citizenship and they will give this citizenship to the infiltrators. Because TMC considers infiltrators as its vote bank. These infiltrators get direct protection from TMC. TMC recruits them directly into its syndicate. TMC is bent upon destroying the law and order situation in Bengal.

He said, ‘From Cooch Vihar, I again remind all the states of the country that those states which have done good work in population control will not suffer any loss in terms of seats, everyone will benefit. Participation of all states and rights of all will be protected. We want to put a firm stamp on this in Parliament that additional seats should be increased for women. So that the states get a big benefit from it.

PM Modi spoke about women empowerment

PM Modi said, ‘Our Bengal is the land of Shakti worship. I would like to tell all the sisters and daughters who have come here, every sister and daughter of Bengal that BJP is in the field for your honor and your prosperity. If BJP government comes, it will open the way for true empowerment of women and this is our track record. 3 crore sisters of the country were made Lakhpati Didi, but it is very important that the role of women should increase in the decisions taken for the country, hence our government made a law to give 33 percent reservation to women in Lok Sabha and Assemblies.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, ‘The ruthless government here is bleeding democracy every day on this sacred soil of Bengal. This ruthless government does not consider any constitutional institution ahead of itself. Two-three years ago the whole country has seen how judicial officers were held hostage in Malda. PM Modi also mentioned Sandeshkhali in his speech.

TMC’s sins will be selectively accounted for: PM Modi

He said, ‘On one hand there are the screams of sisters like Sandeshkhali and the brutal atrocities on daughters, on the other hand there is Modi’s guarantee of security, respect and empowerment to women power. I assure you that this time after the elections their sins will be fully accounted for. Accounts will be taken selectively. After May 4, the law will take its course. No matter who the biggest goon is… this time justice will be done.

PM Modi said, ‘This time there is a fear of TMC in Bengal and to counter it you have the trust of BJP. On one hand there is fear of ‘cut money’ and ‘corruption’ of TMC. On the other hand, there is confidence in BJP that it will give fast pace to development. On one hand, there is a fear of infiltration and settling of foreigners here. On the other hand, BJP is confident of stopping the infiltration and driving out all the infiltrators from Bengal.
