There is a ruckus in Nepal after the Gen-Z movement. After the violence and arson, the law and order came to a complete standstill, after which Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli resigned from his post. The army has taken possession of security institutions to prevent chaos spread across the country including Kathmandu. After the coup in Nepal, the first response from China has come out.

China appealed to all parties to maintain peace
China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Lynn Gian said in a press conference that China and Nepal are traditionally good friends and neighbors. He hoped that all the sections of Nepal would solve domestic issues sensibly and social system and regional stability will be restored as soon as possible. Lynn Gian also said that China does not want to comment on Oli’s resignation at the moment. Oli is considered a pro-China leader and played an important role in strengthening Nepal-China strategic relations.

China also paid attention to the safety of citizens
Lynn Gian made it clear that no Chinese citizen has died in Nepal so far. He advised the Chinese to take care of his safety and said that they should not go out unnecessarily. With this, China has started emergency security arrangements at its Embassy in Nepal. He also told that if the situation worsened, the citizens should immediately contact the embassy in Nepal, China.

Oli attended the SCO summit
Prime Minister Oli recently participated in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference and military parade on World War II. But Oli had to resign after a large scale protests in Nepal, in which 19 people died in police action. The ban imposed on social media was also lifted later.

Nepal is struggling with a terrible crisis. Violence erupted after the ban on social media apps in the country killed many people. KP Sharma Oli resigned from the post of Prime Minister on Tuesday (September 9), seeing the situation worsening, but the information about where he is at this time has not been revealed publicly. Many government buildings were set on fire by the protesters. However, there was silence on the roads in the morning on Wednesday (10 September).

There was news about Oli that he could leave Nepal and flee to Dubai, but at the moment there is no strong information about his location. According to Nepali media, Oli is hiding in a safe house in Kathmandu itself. It is also important that Tribhuvan Airport has been closed. So flights are not operating from there. The command of the country is in the hands of the army. The soldiers are also patrolling the streets of Kathmandu.

Oli’s house set fire by protesters

Many ministers of Nepal government were beaten up by protesters. Many government buildings were set on fire. The protesters also reached the house of KP Sharma Oli. His house in Bhaktapur was set on fire. However, by then Oli managed to escape with his family. It is being speculated that they are hiding in a safe place.

Pashupatinath Temple closed amid fierce performance

The Pashupatinath temple, one of the holiest religious places in Nepal, has been closed for visitors on Wednesday due to increasing violent demonstrations in the country. The Nepal army has been deployed to ensure the safety of the temple premises and maintain peace.

Strong demonstrations of students continue in the neighboring country Nepal. The crowd entered Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House and Prime Minister’s Office and set fire to arson. Meanwhile, Prime Minister KP Oli resigned. The mob assaulted Finance Minister and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuwa. This boil has increased India’s concern. Meanwhile, Congress leader Udit Raj has said that this will eventually strengthen democracy.

Udit Raj said, “The democracy of Nepal is new and if it is said, the transition is going through a period. The movement of students and youth should be seen in this context and there is no talk of nervousness. There are reports that due to the ban on social media, the movement intensified and corruption is also being described as the reason, then there is no need to worry. This will make democracy stronger.

He said, “What is not visible is definitely a fear. Some forces that want to establish the monarchy O can also conspire against the resource and propaganda.

Arson and sabotage in the homes of many leaders

Demonstration against ban on social media started on Monday in Nepal. The administration strictly took strictness on the students and more than 20 people died in it. More than 300 people were injured. However, the performance did not stop. It became more fierce on Tuesday. Many protesting were wearing school dress.

He targeted the leaders and their homes. Hours before Oli’s resignation, the protesters set fire to their private residence in Balkot and attacked the houses of former Prime Minister Pushp Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Communications Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung, former Home Minister Ramesh writer etc. The protesters also attacked the private residence of President Paudel.

Amid protests on Monday, the Nepal government lifted the ban on social media websites on Monday night after protests led by ‘Jane Zee’ youth. However, the protesters have continued their protest against corruption and demanding accountability of people’s deaths.

Nepal is going through a period of big political and social upheaval these days. Millions of youth and students are on the streets under the Gen Z movement in many cities including the capital Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has resigned from his post. Balen Shah has emerged at the center of this movement, who is seen as a very popular leader of the Mayor and youth of Kathmandu.

Time magazine and New York Times also covered Balen. Their social media posts often cause debate and trending at the national level. His lifestyle, style and thoughts have become a role model for the younger generation. This is the reason why Balen Shah’s support in the Gen Z movement is giving it rapid pace and identity.

Career started as a civil engineer

Balen Shah’s visit was also interesting. He started a career as a civil engineer, then became a rapper and eventually stepped into politics. By becoming the mayor of Kathmandu, he gained popularity among the youth and became a hero among traditional parties.

Objection raised to some dialogues of ‘Adipurush’ in 2023

In 2023, he objected to some dialogues of the film ‘Adipurush’ showed that he is not only administrative, but also a leader to raise voice on social issues.

How did Gen Z movement begin?

The GEN Z movement started against Ash and government’s social media restrictions in Nepal. The youth started a peaceful protest, but during the government’s strong response, 19 people were killed and hundreds were injured. 18 protesters died in Kathmandu alone. Balen Shah gave it his leadership by gaining confidence and support of the youth in this entire movement.

Nepal is currently going through a huge upheaval. Protests of students are going on everywhere and the situation has become uncontrollable in many places. Meanwhile, big news has come out in Nepali media that Prime Minister KP Sharma is planning to leave the country. According to reports, he is preparing to go to Dubai on the pretext of treatment.

On the other hand, many ministers of Nepal government have already resigned. But the protesters demand that PM Oli leave the post. Now the question is arising whether the Prime Minister can really go to Dubai Sharan. Learn how to find refuge there.

Nepali PM KP Oli in planning to flee Dubai

Amidst the uproar in Nepal, it is now reported that the Himalayan Airlines have been placed on standby to take Oli out of the country. Between increasing pressure and resignations of ministers, he has also entrusted executive responsibilities to the Deputy Prime Minister before leaving the country.

Also read: Is it necessary to fill ITR even without earning, can the government send notices to such people?

On the other hand, the situation has become more tense. In Janakpur, the protesters have pelted stones at the house of Oli’s party’s senior leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Raghuveer Mahaseth. The continuous opposition has put the government in crisis and the atmosphere on the streets is getting worse every day.

How do you find refuge in Dubai?

In the midst of increasing opposition and political stir in Nepal, leaders like Oli turn to Dubai. So the process is not like ordinary citizens. The matter of refuge there is decided directly at the political level. Generally, the case of any foreign national in Dubai goes to UNHCR, the refugee agency of the United Nations.

But for big leaders, the path of backchainal dialogue is adopted. During this time, the host decides on further situations in terms of living and safety there. Many times it happens that they are given a temporary shelter and later sent to a third country.

The political crisis in Nepal is getting deeper.
The protesters set fire to the residence of Information Minister Prithvibaba Gurung and former Prime Minister Pushp Kamal Dahal on Monday night. Apart from this, the crowd was also moving towards the house of former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Government ordered an inquiry into violence
