Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna took four wickets each in the third ODI and reduced the South African innings to 270 runs. Kuldeep has registered his name in a historical record list by trapping four South African batsmen in his spin. Kuldeep has now joined the list of Indian bowlers who have taken the most 4-wicket hauls in ODI cricket history.

In the third ODI match played in Visakhapatnam, Kuldeep Yadav made Dewald Brevis, Marco Jansen, Corbin Bosch and Lungi Ngidi his victims. Kuldeep has left behind legends like Anil Kumble and Javagal Srinath in the list of Indian bowlers who have taken the most 4-wicket hauls in ODI cricket history.

Most 4-wicket hauls in ODI

Mohammed Shami has taken the maximum 4-wicket haul for India in the history of ODI cricket. Shami has taken four or more wickets in an ODI match 16 times. Ajit Agarkar, the current chief selector of the Indian cricket team, had done this 12 times. Kuldeep Yadav, who has taken 4-wicket hauls 11 times, has come third in this list.

On the third day of India vs West Indies second test being played in Delhi, Kuldeep Yadav created a stir with his bowling. He took 5 wickets in the first innings of West Indies. This is the 5th wicket haul of his Test career. With the help of his brilliant bowling, India bowled out West Indies for 248 runs in the first innings.

This is Kuldeep’s 15th Test match, before this this record was in the name of Johnny Wardle, who took five wicket haul for the 5th time in his 28th Test.
