India vs South Africa 3rd ODI is being played in Visakhapatnam, which is the deciding match of the 3 match series. The first two matches of the India vs South Africa ODI series have been competitive. The exit of Jorji and Berger is a big blow for Temba Bavuma and the team. Jorji, who had scored 39 runs in the first match and 17 not out in the second, was out due to a hamstring injury.

30-year-old Nandre Berger took 2 wickets in Ranchi ODI and 1 wicket in Raipur, he was the main bowler of the visiting team who is not playing the decider match. There was also a change in India’s playing 11 in the third ODI, Tilak Verma has been included in place of Washington Sundar.

The South African Cricket Board said in its statement, “Burger suffered a hamstring injury while bowling during the second ODI on Wednesday, and De Zorzi suffered pain in the right hamstring area while batting and was unable to continue batting. Both players underwent scans on Friday which revealed the severity of their injuries.”

Mafaka and Tony De Jorzi out of T20 series

Tony De Jorji has been ruled out of not only the third ODI but also the India vs South Africa 5-match T20 series due to a hamstring injury. 19-year-old young bowler Kwena Mafaka has also been ruled out of the entire T20 series.

South Africa defeated Australia by 53 runs in the second T20 match. With this, after 2 matches, the series has become equal to one each and now the result of the series will come out of the third T20 match on August 16. In this second T20 match, South Africa scored a huge score of 218 runs on the basis of Dewald Brevis’s century innings. In response, the Australian team was reduced to the score of 165. He scored an unbeaten 125 in 56 balls, it was also the first century of his T20 career. Apart from him, no batsman could play a big innings. However, Triston Stabs scored 31 runs.

South Africa has won a T20 match over Australia after 1997 days. The last win over the Kangaroos of South Africa in a T20 match came on 23 February 2020. Australia defeated South Africa by 17 runs in the first match of the three -match T20 series on Sunday, thanks to Tim David’s brilliant batting and Josh Hazlewood and Ben Dvarsus’s deadly bowling. After this, Ryan Ricelton (71) and Triston Stabs (37) together added 72 runs for the fourth wicket. At one time it seemed that South Africa would win this match easily. But the Australian bowlers made a tremendous comeback.

Josh Hazlewood and Ben Dwarashuis took three wickets each. At the same time, Adam Jampa took two wickets. Due to which Australia stopped South Africa for 161 runs in just 20 overs. Australia won the match by 17 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the series.
