According to IMD, the new weather system forming in the Bay of Bengal is becoming increasingly active and it may take the form of a major cyclonic threat in the coming days.

According to IMD, the low pressure area near Malaysia and the Strait of Malacca currently remains there and the cyclonic circulation associated with it is active up to a height of 7.6 kilometers. It is estimated that this system will move in the west-northwest direction and turn into a depression over the South Andaman Sea in the next 24 hours and after that it may intensify into a cyclonic storm over the South Bay of Bengal in the next 48 hours.

Heavy rain in next 5 days
Due to the effect of this cyclonic system, heavy rains are going to start in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Coastal Andhra Pradesh in the next 5 days. A warning of very heavy rain has been issued in Tamil Nadu along with heavy rain from 25 to 27 November on 28, 29 and 30 November. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Kerala and Mahe till 26 November. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on 29 and 30 November.

No respite from poisonous air in Delhi
The weather has changed in Delhi due to change in wind direction. The minimum temperature in the capital once again fell below 10 degrees Celsius on Monday, while despite the full day’s sunshine, the maximum temperature of Delhi also remained below normal. Due to cold weather and low wind speed, the level of pollution is highest at night. There is no hope of relief from poisonous air for the next one week.

Now the minimum temperature has started falling in the state. In many districts the minimum temperature has fallen below 10 degrees Celsius. Barabanki, Kanpur Nagar, Etawah and Meerut have recorded a minimum temperature of 9 degrees Celsius, while Muzaffarnagar has recorded a minimum temperature of 9.8 degrees Celsius and Bareilly 9.9 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department said that this cyclone can also make landfall as a very severe cyclonic storm.

IMD has issued an alert for many states regarding this severe cyclone. The department said that due to this severe cyclone, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal.

Pressure area formed in East-Central Arabian Sea

The pressure area formed in the east-central Arabian Sea is moving in the north-northwest direction and on Saturday (October 25, 2025) it was located about 380 km west-northwest of Panaji in Goa, 400 km south-west of Maharashtra capital Mumbai, 620 km north-west of Mangaluru in Karnataka and 640 km north-northwest of Aminidivi in ​​Lakshadweep.

At the same time, according to the IMD report on Saturday (October 25, 2025), this cyclone is likely to move in an almost north-westerly direction in the next 24 hours and may cause heavy rains in Goa, Konkan, Gujarat and Kerala.

The Meteorological Department said that when this cyclone will hit near Kakinada coast of Andhra Pradesh in the evening or night of October 28, the wind speed will be 90 to 100 kilometers per hour, while the speed of gusts can reach up to 110 kilometers per hour.

They were ordered that if no Indian soldiers are found there, they should hoist the Pakistani flag and claim their claim on Lakshadweep.

When Pakistani warship returned

India got news of this plan of Pakistan. At that time, India’s Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel decided that Pakistan would not be allowed to occupy Lakshadweep. He ordered the Revenue Collector of Travancore to immediately go to Lakshadweep with some soldiers and hoist the tricolor there. The Collector, accepting the order of Patel, went with the soldiers and hoisted the Indian flag in Lakshadweep. After some time a Pakistani warship reached there, but after seeing the tricolor, he returned without doing anything. Lakshadweep survived the possession of Pakistan with the rapid wisdom of Sardar Patel and today this calm and beautiful island is a part of India.
