The huge three-day congregation of Tablighi Jamaat in Mewat, Haryana ended peacefully. More than three lakh people from across the country and abroad attended this religious event. Despite the presence of lakhs of people, the atmosphere remained cordial, which is being considered an example of religious dialogue and unity.

Tablighi Jamaat was founded 99 years ago by Maulana Mohammad Ilyas Kandhalvi, whose objective is to bring Muslims on the right path of Islam, not to convert them. This organization is active in 150 countries of the world and describes itself as non-political.

Inflow of crowd and disciplined operation of systems

A flood of humans was seen far and wide in the plains of Mewat. Despite the presence of about three lakh people, the Jalsa remained completely disciplined and peaceful. Tablighi Jamaat’s Ameer Hazrat Maulana Saad also attended this event. More than a thousand volunteers remained continuously active to manage the crowd and maintain order. Arrangements for food, water and accommodation were handled very smoothly, due to which there was no chaos.

Glimpse of Hindu-Muslim unity

The biggest feature of this gathering was the example of mutual brotherhood. While lakhs of Muslims participated in the procession, people from the Hindu community also cooperated openly. A stall of ‘Mohabbat Ki Chai’ was set up by the All India Backward and Minority Employees Federation, which was founded by late leader Kanshi Ram. At this stall, a message of harmony was given to the people by serving them tea. A person named Rajesh Garg set an example of humanity by setting up a stall of Veg Biryani.

Purpose and importance of Tablighi Jamaat

Tablighi Jamaat organizes such gatherings so that Muslims can be brought on the path of right conduct and simplicity. This organization is not focused on religious conversion but on self-improvement. The people involved in this work to spread the correct message of Islam in their respective areas. This Jalsa of Mewat is being considered historic not only from religious point of view but also from the point of view of social and communal harmony, which showed that humanity and love is the biggest religion.

Haryana News: Taking strict action against corruption by the government employee, the court sentenced a patwari (revenue officer) to four years rigorous imprisonment in a corruption case by 2023. The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Jagdeep Singh on Monday convicted government employee Sanjay Kumar and also imposed a fine of Rs 30,000.

Patwari took a bribe of 8 thousand

In February 2023, Sanjay, posted at the Land Acquisition Office of Haryana Urban Development Authority, was caught red handed by the Anti -Corruption Bureau (ACB) taking a bribe of Rs 8,000. An ACB official said that Patwari is accused of demanding bribe to present the report in relation to the interest received by the complainant in lieu of the acquired land. The accused failed to present any evidence in his favor.

Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that for the last 10 years, the government has implemented a policy of zero tolerance against corruption in all the departments across the state. The CM also claimed that if a government employee is found involved in any illegal activity, strict action will be taken against him.

Sentenced after two years of hearing

The ACB received a complaint on 6 February 2023, alleging that Sanjay is seeking bribe to present the records related to payment in land acquisition. On the same day, a case was registered under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act at ACB Gurugram police station. ACB filed a charge sheet in the court in March 2023. After two years of hearing, the court convicted Sanjay and sentenced him on the basis of the ACB investigation and the complainant’s statement.

Meanwhile, last month, another revenue officer Naresh was arrested by the police from Sohna Tehsil office. The police accused Naresh of tampering with land documents and preparing fake documents. The accused is still in jail and the case is under investigation.
