MPPCB has issued notification for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Engineer. A total of 14 posts will be filled through this recruitment. This is a great opportunity for the candidates who are associated with the engineering field and want to do a government job. The application process will be online and candidates can apply from 10 April 2026 to 30 April 2026.

What qualification is required?
Only those candidates who have BE/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering and M.E./M.Tech in Environmental Engineering can apply for this recruitment. The degree must be from a recognized university.

What is the age limit?
The minimum age to apply for this recruitment has been kept at 21 years, while the maximum age for the general category is 40 years. Whereas SC, ST, OBC (resident of Madhya Pradesh), women, disabled and departmental employees have been allowed to apply up to 45 years by giving relaxation in maximum age.

How many posts for which category?
There are a total of 14 posts under this recruitment, which differ according to the category. These include 5 posts for unreserved category, 2 for SC, 3 for ST, 3 for OBC and 1 post for EWS. Apart from this, some posts have also been reserved for women.

How will the selection be done?
Candidates will be selected in three phases. First there will be Computer Based Test (CBT), after that interview will be taken and finally document verification will be done. In the final merit, CBT will be given 80% weightage and Interview will be given 20% weightage.

How much salary will you get?
Candidates selected on this post will be given salary under Level-12. The starting salary will be Rs 56,100 per month which will increase to Rs 1,77,500 with experience and time. Apart from this, the candidates will also be given Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and other government facilities.
