This is an increase of 2.4 percent compared to the second quarter of the previous year. Increasing demand for 10.9 inch models of iPad and 11 inch and 13 inch models of iPad Air is a major reason for increasing Apple’s sales. Samsung has finished second with a shipment of 72 million tablets. The company’s market share was 18.7 percent in the second quarter. In the second quarter, Lenovo has gained about 25 percent on a year-on-year basis with a shipment of 31 lakh tablets.
