Lic Policy: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has made a new record by selling the highest insurance policy in 24 hours. LIC said on Saturday that it achieved the title of Guinness World Record by selling the most life insurance policies in 24 hours.

This historical achievement has been verified by Guinness World Records himself. Along with this, the spectacular performance of LI’s network has been appreciated by Guinness World Records on January 20, 2025. On January 20, a total of 4,52,839 agents of LIC across the country achieved this record by selling 5,88,107 life insurance policies. The statement issued by LIC said, “Within 24 hours, he established a new global benchmark for agent production in the Life Insurance Industry.”

‘Mad Million Day’ was successful

The statement further said, “This is a powerful verification of the tireless dedication, skills and tireless work of our agents. This achievement shows our deep commitment to our mission to provide significant financial security to our customers and their families. “This record effort was the result of the initiative of LIC MD and CEO Siddharth Mohanty, in which he appealed to every agent to complete at least one policy on ‘Mad Million Day’ on 20 January 2025.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohanty thanked all the customers, agents and employees for making ‘Mad Million Day’ historic.
