Alines on k2-18b planet: Ever since humans started trying to understand the universe, a question has always been chasing. Are we alone in this vast universe? Now you can get the strongest answer to this question. He is connected to a 700 trillion miles from the planet K2-18B.

K2-18B is a planet that is out of our solar system. It revolves around a red dwarf star. This planet is two and a half times bigger than the Earth. It has been classified as “Hyasian World”. That is, a planet, which can have liquid water on the surface and is expected to be abundant hydrogen in the atmosphere. This is the feature that makes it suitable for life like Earth.

Who discovered this and how?
It is a revolutionary discovery in the world of astronomy, which has been discovered by Professor Nikku Madhusudan of Astronomy Institute of Cambridge University and his team with the help of NASA’s James Web Space Telescope (JWST). The telescope examined the light of the star passing through the K2–18B environment, dymethyl sulfide (DMS) and dimethyl dysulfide (DMDS) found indicating two special atoms. Both these gases are produced only on the earth towards organisms, such as marine phytoplinkton and some types of bacteria.

Is this a proof of alien life?
According to Professor Madhusudan, “This is the strongest indication ever to be a life on the K2-18B. We hope that it will be confirmed in the next 1-2 years.” Although the team and other scientists say more data is needed to confirm this discovery, but there was no indication before that, which was so clear.

Scientific importance of signs of life associated with K2-18B planet
The importance of this discovery can be understood from the fact that it is based on solid scientific parameters not only in fantasies. Powerful telescope like JWST has proved that we can also understand the chemical composition of planets located thousands of trillion miles away from the earth. If the gas like DMS is really present in the atmosphere of this planet, then it means that there are organic processes like Earth or can be there.

Can K2-18B be our first alien neighbor?
The signs of life from the planet K2-18B make us think that perhaps we are not alone in this universe. This discovery is not only exciting for astronomers, but can be the beginning of a possible new era to humanity. Where we will see the word Alien as not just imagination, but as reality.

Scientists are trying to find the possibilities of life outside the earth. Many such planets have been discovered outside the solar system on which the essential elements of life are present, but so far, life-awakened life has not been found on any other planet. In this episode, another new discovery scientists have been involved. Planets likely to live outside the Earth include planets that are revolving around dwarf white dwarfs. These are stars that have spent their maximum energy and have a little energy left. They become small and remain the shape of the earth and they have a lot of density. But their planets can give shelter to life.

Now scientists say that there may be chances of life on planets moving around the white Dwarf (extinguished stars). Although these stellar relics (White Dwarf) are no longer able to produce any energy, but still their rapid shrinking, habitable areas can give so much time that can start a biological process. This new study challenges the old estimate that says that due to the rapid changing temperatures of the planets present in such systems, they cannot refuse biological processes.

Researchers have designed a model for this which talks about two very important procedures, photosynthesis and ultraviolet (UV)-driven organism. That is, the model shows whether these two procedures may occur in the zone of White Dwarf. This indicates that life may exist around these stars for billions of years.

In the Astrophysical Journal Letters Study Has been published. The team, led by Caldon White, a prominent writer of the study from Florida Institute of Technology, discovered how long a planet like Earth can maintain life supportive circumstances in a fast shrinking environment of a white Dwarf.

White Dwarf is formed when stars like Sun have finished their nuclear fuel and turn into dense remnants. After this, they slowly go through the process of cooling. The result of which is that their habitable areas start shifting inwards. This has a limited time to a planet in which water can remain in existence on that planet. That is, the planet can cherish a life -giving element like water for a short time.

In a period of 7 billion years, scientists saw the planet revolving around a white Dwarf. The study assessed the energy available for photosynthesis and UV-mangoing living during this period. The result came that despite the limited of the habitable area, enough energy to work for both processes was derived from that white dwarf. Therefore, while searching for life outside the earth, White Dwarf cannot be denied anymore.
