Veteran Bollywood actor Prem Chopra has been discharged from Lilavati Hospital. The actor was undergoing treatment in the hospital for the last one week. Cardiologists Dr. Nitin Gokhale and Dr. Jalil Parkar were treating Prem Chopra. Now after the actor’s discharge from the hospital, Dr. Parker has shared his health update while talking to the media.

According to news agency ANI, Prem Chopra’s family has told that he has been discharged from the hospital on Saturday, November 15. Now the actor will recover by staying at home. Prem Chopra’s son-in-law Vikas Bhalla told India Today – ‘He is back home and is completely healthy.’ Let us tell you that Prem Chopra is 92 years old. In such a situation, it took a week for him to recover.

Recovery time taken due to increasing age!
While giving Prem Chopra’s health update, Dr. Parker said- ‘Prem Chopra is a well-known heart patient. Along with the viral infection, age-related problems have delayed his recovery a bit. His condition is stable, he was not kept in ICU and we treated him in the ward itself. In a few days he will feel much better at home.

Actor has worked in more than 400 films
Prem Chopra has played memorable roles in hundreds of Bollywood films in his long career. His dialogues, his style and his powerful presence are still remembered by the audience. Lilavati Hospital Trust Accuses HDFC Bank: The Trust, which manages the prestigious Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, on Wednesday (June 11), the trust of HDFC Bank, Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shashidhar Jagdishan, said on Wednesday (June 11) that the bank’s claims about a lonely loan are inconsistent and the bank has never introduced any official loan account or agreement in the court.

However, HDFC Bank spokesperson said that the allegations made by the trust are completely untrue and malicious and neither the bank nor its CEOs have done any illegal or immoral activity. Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust said in a statement that there is a huge discrepancy in the loan amount in various documents of the private sector bank. Initially, a loan of Rs 4.8 crore, then Rs 450 crore and now Rs 65.22 crore has been mentioned.

Permanent trustee Prashant Mehta of the trust questioned how the country’s largest bank can make three different claims about the same loan, and why not support it by the original agreement.

Never taken any loan from HDFC Bank

Trust and Mehta also reiterated that they had never taken any loan from HDFC Bank and these discrepancies support their claims. The trust also alleged that the bank’s managing director and chief executive officer Jagadishan was given a bribe of Rs 2.05 crore to help the Chetan Mehta Group to maintain illegal control over the trust.

However, HDFC Bank has denied these allegations. The bank spokesman said that the allegations made by the trustees are ‘completely untrue, malicious, false and defamatory’ nor the bank nor its CEO has any illegal or unethical activity. Along with this, the bank has warned that it will take strict legal action against those who make such baseless allegations.

He says that some defaulters are misusing the law to avoid the recovery of the bank’s loans.

Jagadishan accused of embezzlement of 25 crores

According to the NDTV profit report, the trust has accused the bank of embezzlement of Rs 25 crore. Trust members said on Saturday that they want to take action on the basis of the order of the Mumbai Magistrate Court to register an FIR against 8 other people including Jagdishan.

Jagadishan is accused that a former member of the trust gave him Rs 2.05 crore to harass the father of another sitting member. This transaction was recorded in a hand written diary, which is now being introduced as evidence.

Bank gave this clarification on allegations

Now in a statement released on Saturday, the bank has said that the law will be resorted to to protect the reputation of MD and CEO Shashidhar Jagdishan. The bank has clarified that it is a case related to the recovery of the long -standing loan on the bank.

It was told, trustee, Prashant Mehta and his family members were outstanding a loan of a large amount taken from HDFC, which was not being paid. Recovery is being tried for almost 20 years and every time Prashant and his family are adopting some legal maneuver. After missing every level including the Supreme Court, now the MD and CEO of the bank are being targeted. The bank, while confidence in the law, said that they are sure that the trustees of the Lilavati Trust and the officials of the officials will be exposed to tarnishing the image of the bank and its MD and CEO.
