US President Donald Trump has prepared a new plan to stop the Gaza war, which talks about creating a buffer zone between Gaza and Israel. Trump says that Qatar, Pakistan and many other countries have agreed on this scheme. He has claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has also agreed to this proposal. However, his recent statement on Netanyahu’s consent raises questions.

The buffer zone means that there will be an area between Israel and Gaza where no soldier or citizen will be able to enter. Trump has described it as the path of permanent peace in Gaza. According to this plan of Trump, Israel will gradually pour the army back from most parts of Gaza and a place will also be prepared for the release of the hostages.

Three lines of Trump’s buffer zone in Gaja

To stop the Gaza war, Trump has shown this zone by drawing three lines on the map regarding the buffer zone plan. In these three lines …

Blue line- Israeli’s present Army
Yellow line- Israeli army will arrive to leave hostage
Red line- Israeli army will stop here

At the same time, Trump has also laid a condition about this buffer John that Gaza will be made terrorism free and if both sides agree then the war will end immediately. After this, Israel will release 250 life prisoners and 1700 other Gaza residents.

What is the system on India China border

Buffer zones and patrolling systems have been implemented in many places on the line of actual control between India and China. After tension in the Galwan Valley and other areas of Ladakh in April 2020, the two countries made several agreements to control and control military activities along the border. According to these agreements, the armies of India and China are deployed in a limited area in the buffer zone established in eastern Ladakh. Soldiers have been kept behind from the disputed region such as Galwan, Pangong Tso and Hot Springs. In this, the military pioneer post has been kept separate. Regarding the buffer zone on the India China border, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had also said that many sensitive issues along the border in India and China resolved. Through patrolling and buffer zone, both sides can protect their soldiers and political facilities.

Is there such a system with Pakistan

No system like buffer zone is applied on the Indo-Pak border at present. But for control and monitoring, petrol, posts and strategic vision have been arranged on the border. Especially these patrolling systems are actively applicable on the borders of Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan. Agreements for continuous monitoring and firing control between the two countries have also been made from time to time.

Participated in a high level meeting between India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and China’s Polit Bureau member Wang Yi on 14 July 2025. During this time, he worked to redefine the direction and priorities of India-China relations. Jaishankar clearly stated Wang Yi that India-China bilateral relations will only be based on the mutual interests of both countries. Pakistan or any other third country will have no role in this. This statement is especially important because China is a supply of 81 percent of Pakistan’s military equipment.

In the meeting, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar expressed satisfaction over the resumption of the Indian Army patrolling in the Depsang and Demchok region after the agreement in October 2024. Also said that five years have passed and now both armies should focus on reducing stress.

Why does the situation still persist on LAC?
The Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh is about 1,597 km. Even today, both the armies have about 50,000 soldiers, tanks and heavy weapons deployed here. The situation was created after encroachment of PLA in 2020. Although there were several rounds of military and diplomatic talks between India and China, there is no complete peace at the ground level. Jaishankar said in the meeting that a stable boundary is the cornerstone of stable relations between the two countries.

Export ban from China and India’s objection
In the meeting, S Jaishankar also raised the issue of recently imposed export sanctions by China. He questioned the ban on the minerals used in magnets used in the auto industry and the minerals used in potassium-nitrogen fertilizers. On this, Jaishankar urged Wang Yi not to impose such restrictions on India as it affects the supply chain and the economic relationship between the two countries is affected. These supply chains play an important role in India-China trade relations. Therefore, both leaders also discussed this issue.

India’s stand on terrorism: Message in SCO meeting
On July 13, 2025, at a meeting of Foreign Ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), S Jaishankar also reiterated India’s tough stand against terrorism. He said that India said that the action on terrorist camps in Pakistan is in line with the UNSC proposal 16050. The proposal was passed on 25 April 2025 and supported it by all countries including Pakistan, China and Russia. In the proposal, it has been said to bring criminals, organizers, financers and sponsors of terror into the dock of justice. Jaishankar clarified that India will not adopt any compromise policy on the issue of terrorism.

Pakistan’s role in India-China relations
The country is in tension about the role of Pakistan in India-China relations. Let us know that Pakistan supplies China missiles, aircraft and other military equipment to it. This is the reason that India bluntly said that India-China bilateral relations will not be allowed to be affected by third party, especially Pakistan. India’s attitude is clear that peace and mutual business relationships on the border will be fruitful only when such indirect effects will end.

Jaishankar-wang-yi-talks: Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said in a comprehensive talks before the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference on Monday that there has been ‘good progress’ in the last nine months towards normalizing India-China relations. Now both countries should focus on reducing stress on the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Differences should not become dispute, competition should not become a struggle
Jaishankar clearly stated in the talks that if the relations between India and China have to be pursued in a ‘positive direction’, then it is necessary that mutual differences do not change in controversy and do not take the form of competition conflict.

Jaishankar’s gesture on business: both countries should avoid restrictions and obstacles
The Foreign Minister spoke of avoiding ‘restrictive business steps’ and ‘obstacles’, which indicates restrictions imposed by China on the export of important minerals. He insisted that removing these barriers is necessary for mutual cooperation.

Positive changes in relations after Kazan meeting: Jaishankar
Jaishankar, while mentioning a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Kazan, Russia in October 2024, said that after this India-China relations have gradually moved in the right direction. Now it is the responsibility to retain this speed.

The foundation of progress is made by border peace
He said that the progress of the last nine months is the result of our ability to maintain peace on the borders of India and China. He described this strategic belief as an ‘basic foundation’ of the stable relations between the two countries.

Interest and economic support between people
Jaishankar said that it is important for neighboring countries like India-China to make the exchange among the people normal. This will increase mutual beneficial cooperation, but for this, business obstacles will have to be removed.

The role of India-China relations in global stability
Jaishankar also said that stable and creative relations between India and China are beneficial not only for these two countries, but for the whole world. For this, mutual respect, interest and sensitivity should be given priority.

Repeated already created consent: Do not let the differences deteriorate
The Foreign Minister again reminded in the talks that earlier it was agreed that the differences should not be allowed to change in controversy and competition. Based on this principle, both countries can pursue their relations.
