Fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah took 2 wickets in the innings. Sahibzada Farhan, who became famous for ‘gun celebration’, played a half -century innings of 57 runs in the final. Kuldeep Yadav took the most 4 wickets for India. Varun Chakraborty, Jaspreet Bumrah and Akshar Patel took two wickets each.

The Indian team won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. Initially, seeing the strong start of Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman, it felt as if Team India had taken a wrong decision.
