<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>2. Take green tea &#8211;</strong> Green tea is not only beneficial for weight loss but also for the liver. The elements called catechins present in it prevent accumulation of fat in the liver and accelerate the detox process. Drink 1 to 2 cups of green tea without sugar daily.  This will make the body feel light and the liver will also be cleaned. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>3. Turmeric –</strong> Turmeric is a superfood present in our kitchen. Curcumin found in it reduces inflammation of the liver and heals its cells. Add half a teaspoon of turmeric in your daily food or drink turmeric mixed with lukewarm milk at night. It detoxifies the liver and protects from diseases. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>4. Keep whole grains in your diet &#8211;</strong> Eat brown rice, oats, and quinoa instead of flour or white rice. The fibers present in them keep blood sugar under control and do not put much burden on the liver. Eating whole grains regularly increases liver function and reduces the risk of fatty liver. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>5. Eat almonds, walnuts and seeds &#8211;</strong> Nuts i.e. almonds, walnuts, flax seeds contain healthy fats and Vitamin E, which protect the liver cells. These reduce swelling and give energy to the body. Eating 4 to 5 almonds or some walnuts daily is a good option. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>6. Apples and Berries &#8211;</strong> Fruits like apple, strawberry and blueberry are rich in antioxidants. These prevent accumulation of fat inside the liver and clean it. Include these in breakfast or as an evening snack </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>7. Reduce stress &#8211;</strong> Stress also harms the liver, because it increases cortisol hormone. Practice meditation, yoga or deep breathing for 10 to 15 minutes every day.  It not only keeps the mind calm, but also improves the health of the liver. </p>
