Regarding the second phase of assembly elections to be held in Bihar on Tuesday (November 11, 2025), Union Minister Chirag Paswan reached Nowhatta in Chenari assembly constituency of Rohtas district to address an election rally, where Murari Prasad Gautam of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has been made its candidate by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Addressing the public meeting, Chirag Paswan said, ‘The people of the Grand Alliance themselves become the Chief Minister and when they go to jail, they make their better half the Chief Minister. When the next generation goes into politics, they try to make their son the Chief Minister. If he has to become an MP, he will make his daughter. Thus, they give all the profits to their families and take votes from the common people.

He said, ‘The people of Grand Alliance have made MY equation, but did not give any benefit to ‘M’ and kept all the profit in ‘Y’ for their family. At the same time, there are women and youth in our MY. Chirag Pasan has created an equation between women and youth.

Union Minister seeks public support for LJP candidate

Opposition is copying NDA government’s plans: Chirag Paswan

Chirag Paswan said that the NDA government had started schemes like ‘Jeevika Didi’ in Bihar, which are making women self-reliant today. He alleged that the parties of the Grand Alliance are copying the same schemes which were started by the NDA. He also said that if NDA comes to power, every person will be given a place according to his capacity. The seat sharing formula for Bihar assembly elections has been decided between BJP and JDU. After several days of talks, both the parties have finally sealed the agreement. According to sources, a total of 203 seats have been agreed between BJP and JDU, while 40 seats can be left for allies. The seats discussed in BJP’s account include Pranpur, Baruraj, Tarari, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Patepur, Jale, Darbhanga, Saharsa, Sahebganj, Katihar, Warisaliganj, Jamui, Bettiah, Madhuban, Jhanjharpur, Darundha, Goriyakothi, Amnaur, Hajipur, Biharsharif, Digha, Bankipur, Riga, Bisfi, Chhatapur, Banmankhi, Kumhrar, Patna Sahib, Danapur, Maner and Bikram are included. BJP is considered to have a strong hold on these seats.
