7 crore to gold medal winner in Olympics

According to PTI, Ashish Sood said that under the Chief Minister’s Sports Promotion Scheme, the player who won the gold medal in the Olympics and Paralympics will be given Rs 7 crore, the player who won the silver medal will be given Rs 5 crore and the player who won the brand medal will be given Rs 3 crore. Ashish Sood said that this decision has been taken to promote sports ecosystem.

Before this announcement of CM Rekha Gupta’s government, the gold medal winner in the Olympics and Paralympics received Rs 3 crore, the silver medal winner got Rs 2 crore and the brand medal winner Rs 1 crore.
