Ranbir Kapoor’s first earning was Rs 250, which he got while assisting uncle Rajiv Kapoor’s film ‘Prem Granth’. Veteran actors like Rishi Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit were seen in this film released in 1996. When Ranbir received this Rs 250 as his first earning, he without any delay placed it at the feet of his mother Neetu Kapoor. While talking to Mashable India, Ranbir Kapoor had said, ‘My first salary was Rs 250, which I got while assisting in Prem Granth. Like a good boy, I went to my mother’s room and placed my first pay check at her feet. She saw it and started crying, this was the filmy moment of my life.

In the interview, Ranbir also told about his secret Instagram account. He said, ‘The thing is that I neither post anything nor do I have any followers. So does this make any sense? I don’t have an account, but never say never. I may make my account public but for now I am fine. I am doing fine without social media.

Talking about work front, Ranbir Kapoor will soon be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s film ‘Ramayana’. In this film he is playing the role of Lord Shri Ram. This film will be released in theaters on 30 October 2026. Apart from this, Ranbir has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Love and War’, in which he will be seen with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. This film is going to be released on 21 January 2027.
