Recalling the initial struggle days of his acting career, Ayush Sharma said that he had to face a lot of opposition at home. Speaking to Cyrus Broacha, he revealed how he kept his dreams hidden, ran out of money and even pitched a Rs 10 crore launch idea to his father, which was rejected.

Ayush told that he had come to Mumbai on the pretext of studies and had taken admission in BMS course in Jai Hind College. With the help of his family, he had built a very comfortable life in Bandra. He had everything: house, car and domestic staff.

Parents were very angry

Meanwhile, he also quietly started attending acting workshops. But, when his attendance remained only 9%, the college called his father from Himachal Pradesh. Both his father and mother became very angry at this and talked about the respect of the family.

During this, Ayush told his father for the first time that he wanted to become an actor and showed him the CD of his photoshoot and performance. However, his father did not like this at all. He told Ayush in clear words that he neither had the personality of a hero, nor the height, nor the voice nor the looks.

He even said that he would not even spend Rs 50 to see him on screen. He also compared him with legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra and said that he would not be able to become a hero. After this, his father asked him to come home and take care of the family business and also stopped the financial help.

After the money was stopped, Ayush’s condition became very bad and there came a time when he had only 20 rupees left. Then a friend helped him and sent 50 thousand rupees, so that he could come out of the difficult phase. Ayush did not give up, he asked his father to launch himself by giving him Rs 10 crore.

On this his father taunted and said, ‘Have you ever invested money on a lame horse? Even if I give 10 crores, but who will come to see you. Ultimately his grandfather intervened and gave him a chance and got him support for a fixed period of time. Ayush entered Bollywood in 2018 with the film Loveyatri made under the banner of Salman Khan.
