If you have selected the correct quota of ‘Senior Citizen/Lower Berth’ while booking the ticket and the seat was vacant in the system, then you will get the lower berth automatically. Even after chart preparation, if any other passenger comes and sits on your confirmed lower berth or is refusing to get up after sitting on the seat, then you can immediately complain about it to the on-duty TTE.

Complete method of getting tickets

1. To book train tickets, first of all you have to go to the IRCTC website, then login there.
2. Later you have to select your station in the ‘From’ and ‘To’ options.
3. Then select your train and class.
4. After doing all this, click on ‘Book Now’ and fill the passenger’s information.
