LPG cylinder rate on 26 April: Tension continues between Iran and America. In such a situation, people are worried about LPG rates so that the prices may not increase. Meanwhile, amid disruptions in energy supply on the Strait of Hormuz, priority is being given to existing domestic customers in the country.

At present, the government has temporarily banned new LPG connections. Along with this, instructions have been given that where there is PNG supply, LPG connections will have to be surrendered. As far as prices are concerned, today on April 26, the price of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder remains between Rs 910-950 in major cities of India. Here, the prices of commercial gas cylinders were recently increased by Rs 194 and then by Rs 218.

The government assured

Meanwhile, Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary (Marketing and Oil Refinery) of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, assured that at present the supply of LPG, petrol and diesel in the country is completely normal. Due to this, there is no news of the distributors running out of stock. While strengthening the assurance of supply, the government has also increased production at the domestic level. In such a situation, do not trust rumours.
